We have stayed at this Best Western twice now and find it a nice place to stay. Even though the highway is close our room on the second floor was very quiet. Breakfast is the typical breakfast and was fine. The front desk clerk was very helpful when we asked where a good place to eat was. Would stay here again.

This hotel is conveniently located just off the interstate, and even though the highway is right there, we didn't hear nearly as much noise as we thought we were going to.

The corridors were very gloomy and dark, but the room itself was large and nicely decorated (a moment of *phew*, as I was afraid the rooms would match the corridor!) The water pressure in the shower was fantastic, the bed was very comfortable, and like I said, very little highway noise filtered in.

Breakfast was standard, but my husband had the biscuits and gravy and the gravy was (in his words) congealed. Glad I stuck with waffles!

We had a good experience here, and if we were travelling through Redmond again and needed a room, we wouldn't hesitate to look here for a room.

Pleasant hotel of its kind. Rooms were more spacious and better decorated than we expected, and the bed and bed linens and bathroom were equivalent to hotels a notch or two above this. Full breakfast was self-serve and institutional, but generous and mostly fine - biscuits and gravy were awful. Hallways leading from reception to stairways and rooms give the place an unfortunate locker room feel. Staff were cordial. Rate was extremely good. Located near many restauarants and stores and near main highway. I would recommend.

Room Tip: Ask for room on side away from main road.

We had ridden several hours on motorcycles for a bike rally in Prineville. When we walked in to register we must have looked a bit windswept because the lady at the front desk took 2 steps back like we frightened her, she quickly gave us our room key and never mentioned they served breakfast each morning. The breakfast has muffins, fruit, cereal, eggs and bisquits w/gravy. There was no bacon, sausage available. We found out about breakfast when we went downstairs later and we asked the gentleman behind the desk for the evening shift about it. The man who works the desk on the evening shift wasn't properly dressed all 3 days we were there, wore the same shirt and it was not ironed, very wrinkled so I'm surprised he wasn't sent home and asked to change into proper attire. As the evening progressed I came downstairs several times to find him smoking cigarettes out in the front of the hotel, not real professional for a Best Western in my opinion. We stayed for 3 nights, hotel was full but very quiet. The room is a bit dated, decor doesn't match well but is comfortable. Another thing that stood out regarding this hotel not being up to BW standards is the front of the hotel hasn't been maintained well. There are 2 bowed benches in front for customers to sit on and they are about to fall apart, the trash can wasn't emptied the whole time we stayed there and it was filled to the top, garbage overflowing and was attracting bees and flies. The hotel keeps the front door wide open and I noticed a bee flying around the lobby. There were some flowers in several pots but they hadn't been manicured or watered for a very long time, the dirt was cracked it was so dry. When we returned to the hotel each day I noticed the bath tub had not been washed out nor had an empty bottle of shampoo been removed from the tub caddy. We also found a empty tampon wrapper in the bathroom trash can on the day we checked in. I think they can do much better than this, we stay at BW a lot and this one is below standard.

Room Tip: We stayed in the King Executive Suite, has a room divider between bed and living area. Stay on top...

We chose this hotel for the pool and because it had a good rating on Tripadvisor. The pool was fantastic for my 7 year old granddaughter. The beds were wonderful. As good as the Hilton or Marriott and the breakfast was great. Biscuits, sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, waffles, muffins, bagels, fresh fruit, etc. I usually stay in a higher end place and was quite pleased with this stay. Staff was very pleasant and the room comfortable and quiet. Good sleep at a good price. This hotel should be #1 on Tripadvisor for Redmond, as I can't imagine a better place for the money.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the first floor as there is no elevator.

We decided to stay in or near Bend, Oregon for a last minute road trip. We settled on this hotel after reading previous reviews on TripAdvisor. It's right by Highway 97, but we didn't hear any traffic noise as our room was as far from the highway as could be and we had the room's air system running pretty much the whole time we were there.

Check-in was friendly. We had a suite, which was nice as we could stretch out a bit and relax on the couch after a long day of driving. The room was very clean and everything worked as you would expect. Great shower - plenty of water pressure. The fridge in our room was a plus too, as you drink a lot of water in the desert in summer! We didn't try breakfast, which was included in the room rate. Extra kudos to the Rama Inn for including free wi-fi in the room rate - wish more places did that!

The only small thing was that the bed was a bit soft for us, but that's just our personal preference.

The dining options around that area were pretty limited, so we tended to eat in or near Bend while passing through on our days out.

We would definitely stay at the Rama Inn again.
