La Hacienda Real is an above average Mexican restaurant. The service is very quick. As soon as sat down we were given menus and asked if we wanted drinks. A few seconds later we got chips, salsa, a plate with refried beans and cole slaw, and ice water. The menu was nicer and more varied than usual. You could create your own combo plate with 1, 2, or 3 items. I had chicken enchiladas cremada and it was very tasty. The food was less greasy than food I have had elsewhere. If I lived in this area I would definitely be back to try out more of the menu. But, alas . . .
