I knew we were spending time on the Oregon Coast this summer so when a deal for two nights camping at Camp Dakota came up I thought it would be a lot of fun for our Family - 2 adults, 2 teens. We don't have all the camping equipment so being able to rent one of the Yurts was perfect cause we only needed to bring bedding, cooking utensils and food. The Yurt (sleeps 10) has electricty, a wood stove, BBQ, fresh drinkable water and for fun if it isn't good weather - a pool table, foos ball table or air hockey table. This was a hit with the kids as was the Frisbee golf which is free for campers just bring your own frisbee. They also have Teepee's and a 6 person Yurt. My 13 yr old son's favorite part was the on-site paintball. The deal included this and he has his own gun so it was free except for the purchase of paintballs but we paid 1/3rd of the price we do at home for the same amount of balls so it was very reasonable. He loved the fact he could play all day long until it got dark and he said it was the best field he has played on!! For those worried about the noise we were near the paintball field and could hear it but it wasn't irritating at all. My daughter,16 and I did the aerial traverse lines and small zip lines. The traverse lines were challenging and the zip lines were fun! The staff running it were very professional. They also have an rc car track, gold panning, & treasure hunting all for a small charge. The staff was fantastic, very friendly and we loved the pre ordered coffee delivery in the morning - latte anyone?!!
