“Perfect Stay”
Reviewed 11 February 2014

It was our third night of our anniversary get away. The room was amazing and so was the location. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for the last night of the end of our anniversary weekend.

Room Tip: We had one of the rooms looking out onto the beach.

The weekend we stayed in Seaside, it rained the entire time. We didn't go to the ocean at all--but it didn't matter. The room was amazing; it felt like a tiny apartment, decorated with period sepia photos from the 40's, and furniture that was actually comfy for curling up reading a book, which is what I wanted to do. The kitchen was fully outfitted with pots and pans, utensils, dishware for 4, etc. There was lovely tile work in the kitchen-dining area, and a tile mosaic inside the shower. All the little things that make it the un-hotel. We invited some friends over for wine, cheese, and fruit, and the rain didn't dampen our good time one little bit. I'm looking forward to going to the Inn at the Prom again soon. I absolutely recommend the Inn.

Room Tip: There are rooms on the other side that have an ocean view, but that wasn't important to us. We h...

We had a great experience at inn at the prom. My fiancé and I went there for our anniversary. They had left a anniversary card and sparkling cider for us. The room was clean and comfortable. It was exactly the way they made it look on their website. The staff was so welcoming and nice. We will definitely be coming back here.

This was a family vacation, with my two children and my mother. While this was a smaller hotel, seemingly a very romantic place, it was welcoming of my family. The staff were excellent and more like good friends during our stay. The location was perfect for beach and town activities. While it may be set in the shadows of the other massive vacation properties, it towers over them in style and quality. We look forward to time spent at The Inn at the Prom in the future!

Room Tip: Of course people prefer a room with a view of the beach, however, the other rooms receive the mornin...

We booked the deluxe oceanfront view, our room was upstairs at the back of the property. The room had a nice little kitchen, fireplace and sliding glass doors that led out to a oceanfront deck and a very comfortable king size bed. We were there for our Anniversary and had mentioned the occasion when booking the room, the hotel staff left a nice bottle of sparkling cider and chocolates on the table in honor of the occasion. The Inn is in a nice location, one block over from all of the action and was very quiet. We had a wonderful time and the room was everything we could hope for.

My husband and I came here for a relaxing couple days away. I was told our room had beachfront view. We definitely did not! Unappealing view of the parking lot instead. I did book through expedia though and they were who lead me to believe that. Had a great stay though. Nice staff and very tiny walk to the beach. We loved the jacuzzi tub and fireplace. Wish we could have watched the sunset from our room like we had hoped

Stayed 3 nights, very enjoyable experience, wonderful view of the ocean, off-season meaning we did not have to deal with crowds, quiet. Room was clean; bed was very comfortable; warm gas fire place in the room; convenience of a kitchenette. Office staff was most gracious and helpful. Evening desk lady provided assistance to locate supplier for locally roasted coffee. Thanks for going the extra mile. Hotel is a boutique style hotel meaning not so many rooms which we prefer. In addition to a good ocean view, hotel is close to downtown dining and shopping...easy 5 to 10 min walk. I suggest you contact the folks and give it a try.

Room Tip: Upstairs rooms have better ocean view, but there is no elevator...FYI
