Went in at dinner hour on Father's Day. What I assume is the owner and a staff member were in a booth next to us with computer going talking business. Uncool.
Waitress was obviously covering too many tables. Husband ordered sweet potatoe fries and was brought french fries - quickly corrected - the fried were good. His coleslaw looked so greasy he didn't even want to try it.
Presentation of food here is nice.
I ordered a pork special with cherry sauce. I also asked for no butter to be used in vegetables. Well they used nothing but steam or boiling water to cook them and thus were very blah. Pork was two skinny slices of meat so overcooked that I had to drink water to swallow some of the bites. A tiny dab of pasty sauce on each piece that even when spread could barely cover the meat. Normally I would have sent this back, but I was hungry and tired and just wanted to get back to my hotel by this point. Meat overcooked to that degree should never have happened in the first place.
Honestly, I'm not sure this restaurant really knows it's own identity. Prices are high yet I had to hear the tv from around the corner in their bar while I ate.
