We discovered the Mazatlán Mexican Restaurant, and have been there twice. Everything that I have had was quite good and enjoyable.

Stay away from this place the food tasted old the staff was rude and it took 10 min to get water. The staff just ignored tables as the talked to other staff when we finally got our food it was just really bad

My husband and I were in town for our anniversary and while we went to fine dining for our actual anniversary dinner, we were in town long enough to eat out a few times. We both love Mexican food a great deal and have eaten several times at Mazatlan Restaurants. HOWEVER this particular one is NOT affiliated with the chain of Mazatlan restaurants. We were unaware of this until we ordered our fajitas and they came on a plate looking like a mexi stir fry instead, rather than sizzling on a hot plate. That's when we inquired and were told they are not related to the chain. How disappointed we were, the food, even though large in portion just did not cut it for what we are use to from the actual chain of Mazatlan Restaurants. I will say the staff was friendly and service was quick, but we would not return simply because the food we had anyways, lacked any flavor really, when your used to sizzling fajitas and end up with something totally different. In fact the beef was not even carna asada which is what beef fajitas are made with, this was fatty, and not flavorful, unfortunate because the environment and staff make me want to like it, but I can't. Oh and it was odd, they were playing hard rock 80's music? Seemed more fitting for a burger joint or something. Just sayin....
