“Inn at Seaside”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 February 2009

We just came back from a 2 night stay at the "Inn at Seaside" This is our third year to return.

We return for several reasons.

They allow us to bring our dog and are friendly towards him. They have a lovely room to have the Continental Breakfast.

The Inn at Seaside is clean and friendly.

We'll be going back again next year as we know we can count on them.

We came there once and came again with more families! loved the stay, it was wonderful! Perfect place to stay if you are with young children! the kids loved the pool and the beach is half a block away! The price is great and the rooms are spacious and good. The elevator is old, but is still usable! Its old fashioned. But they have a great continental breakfast and the staff is friendly!

  • Liked — Great Service!
  • Disliked — The elevator.

Just returned from a 2 night stay in Seaside, Oregon at the Seaside Convention Center Inn. We booked a one bedroom suite (room 318) for two adults and two older teenage boys. The price was fair for high season ($159/nt), the front desk staff were friendly and helpful, the suite was clean and pleasant, all nonsmoking. The four beds were all comfortable. There was the usual coffeemaker, minifridge and microwave in the room. One bathroom, clean and well provided with towels and soaps. Television in each room, one remote missing, but not replaced because we were too tired from enjoying Seaside to watch TV at night. Saltwater taffy in each room as a treat for guests. We didn't use the indoor pool or hot tub, but peeked in and saw another family enjoying it immensely. Pool small, but seemed clean.

Hotel also has a self-serve launderette on the main floor. The continental breakfast was light, but fine if you don't usually eat a big breakfast. Bagels, cream cheese, packaged muffins, coffee, juice, hot chocolate. The hotel is about a five minute walk to the beach, two minute walk to the main street of town.

In short, there was nothing about our room I could call shabby or uncomfortable. Everyone in our party enjoyed the hotel, but we might decide to pay a higher rate next summer to stay on the beach - it is an amazing beach. If you're from the Vancouver BC area, it is a minimum 7 hour drive but well worth it.

  • Liked — It was a suite with a separate bedroom for my sons.
  • Disliked — Nothing
  • Tips/Secrets — Suite is only about $30.00 per night more than a room.

Our room was small, though clean and well appointed. The (very tiny) pool was right below our room, and we could hear screaming up until the pool closed at 10 pm. The staff was friendly, but we were so cramped in our room that we checked out after one night.
