I brought my wife here for her birthday. All of the staff was extremely courteous, and helpful with finding local places to eat, things to do, etc... It's a little over a third of a mile from the main street in Seaside, which is nice if you don't like the noise that comes along with it. It is also a very short walk along the promenade to get to all the shops.

The room was extremely clean, and comfortable. They have tempurpedic beds in all the rooms, which was very nice to sleep on.

All I have to say, this place was so nice, we decided to stay Sunday night as well. My wife and I were very impressed and look forward to staying again at the Four Winds.

This was our first time at Seaside and we were very impressed with our accommodations. Friendly and helpful staff, nice room (we were on 2nd floor) with a view of beach and very comfortable bed. Balcony was great to sit out and view the ocean. Husband especially enjoyed the chocolate cookies and I liked the saltwater taffy that was in our room. Loved that it was located near the end of the Prom, secluded from the tourist traffic, but close enough to walk to city center. We would not hesitate to go back. Look forward to returning next year.

We stayed here 3 nights on a trip from Portland to San Francisco, it was great! We had a queen/queen room on the second floor (based on other Tripadvisor reviews). This gave you a private bedroom, with the second bed in the main area. Incredible views of the ocean, about a 10 minute walk to downtown, small table in a window overlooking the water - great for breakfast and people watching. I would highly recommend this inn to anyone spending a couple of days in Seaside. The cons were minor. A problem with maid service that the manager quickly resolved and we hit a hot spell so the room could really use a fan. However, neither of these dampened my enthusiasm for this inn.

One tip, if you are looking for a great dinner, go north about 2 miles to Gearhart and eat at the Pacific Way Cafe, one of the best meals we had on the entire trip.

stayed here one night for 30th wedding anniversary-room and view fantastic central location and amazing sunsets! We were upgraded to a second floor suite which had the most comfortable bed ever! We opened up the doors and the sound of the sea put us to sleep.
