“Cool historic building, decent beer”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 April 2014

Overall, we enjoyed our visit. The Seaside Brewery is in the old Seaside jail. Very cool historic building and lots of space. There are two floors of tables and then an outdoor deck on the second floor.

We visited the brewery for beer and apps. The beer was decent, but not necessarily as advertised. The blonde ale seemed rather hoppy to be considered a blonde. The stout was good though. We tried chicken wings and build your own fish tacos, and enjoyed both very much. Very satisfying with the beer.

Good place to stop by for a drink, but wouldn't spend all night there either...

“Tasty beer. Nice diggs”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 April 2014

The food is pretty pretty decent pub fair. Reasonably priced and tasty but a pretty long shot from fine dining or any real imagination.

I enjoyed the beer and the atmosphere in the old renovated court house was nice too. Out of all the places I saw in Seaside, I'd probably go back there first

“A decent brewpub on the northern Oregon coast.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 April 2014

Standard NW pub food. Good portions and good flavor. Service was friendly but a bit scattered - late welcoming even though the place was half full. Enjoyed the fish and chips. It was nice to sit outside but the location is on a busy intersection away from the beach.

For some reason, they allow dogs on the deck and even to sit on the tables. There were 11 dogs on the patio on an April Sunday afternoon - as many as there were people.

“I so wanted to love this place!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 April 2014

So the building and staff are amazing, unfortunately the food wasn't great. There were four of us and no one finished their food. I got the pulled pork and potatoes and the pork just didn't have that great smoked flavor advertised, and the potatoes that were supposed to be roasted, were mushy. My husband had the buffalo chicken sandwich and chips, and the chips were kettle style and not bad if you like that sort of thing. My daughter got a burger and whatever sauce the but on the bun made it inedible for her, I tried it, it wasn't bad but it wasn't great. My son got the fish and chips and ate all the fries but wouldn't eat the fish because he thought they would be fish sticks. In the restaurants defense I tried the fish and it was awesome, and I usually hate fish. I had the anthem hard cider which was actually very good and my husband had one of their beers on tap which he thought was excellent. So I do recommend you check this place out, look at the old jail cell and enjoy the atmosphere but come for the drinks and if you have to eat, choose the fish and chips!! Oh p.s. the kids meals come in a bucket with a shovel, super cute!

“Good food, friendly staff”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 March 2014 via mobile

Great fish and chips. Bacon burger, chili, turkey sandwich, and Tillamook pizza were excellent.

Also had the IPA beer and it was very good. If you like pub food, this is a good stop.
