I shouldn't say just tourist's, us locals like it too but on the tourist side it's great because of the Logger's museum, the creek running along side the restaurant and inside is amazing, like you are in a giant ski lodge that just happens to make the biggest cinnamon rolls this side of the Mississippi and food portions are large here - as in Logger's portions. And the best part about it are the waitresses, they are always so friendly. Whenever I start to get cabin fever but don't want to drive all the way into town, I run up the road to Camp 18 and have a nice cup of clam chowder, I highly recommend it, they also have a sweet gift shop and kitty cat's to greet you ! And if you think you see an Elephant across the creek, your'e eyes aren't playing tricks on you !

We stop here on our way to the coast from Portland airport and this restaurant has not let us down. The french toast is great for a breakfast and the homemade beef stew in a breadbowl hits the spot on a chilly drizzly day in the Pacific Northwest. The homemade corn bread is so tasty also. They have a nice kids menu and basically everything anyone has ordered at our table was delicious and satisfying! It's a great place to take a few photographs also w/the family (inside and out) because the place is so unique!

This is a wonderful stop for a family on the way to or from Portland to the Ocean. The food was reasonable priced and large portions. There is so much to look at while waiting, both inside and out. Lots to take pictures of, and a great place for a break from the winter driving.

Really liked stopping here on the way to the coast from Portland. Lots of logging equipment and old machines on the grounds to explore while waiting. The wait for our table was very long but we were there during a busy time. There were 7 of us and everyone really enjoyed their meal. The best part though are the huge, delicious cinnamon rolls. We even called ahead the following trip to order 2 to go for breakfast the next morning in our vacation home.

We stopped for lunch and all had sandwiches, mostly ordinary but tasty. I had heard of their cinnamon rolls and the size so only ordered one with 4 plates. It came and we were all amazed at the size, about 4 X 9 inches and covered with lots of icing. We cut out 4 big pieces and took the rest home. It was a nice treat, warm and lots of cinnamon. The room is full of old time pictures of logging activities, the place build with large logs in log cabin style. Outside is a museum of old relic logging equipment, scattered around the parking lot The gift shop has a nice assortment of souvenirs.
