We ate dinner last night, based on the positive reviews. Oops. We waited 45 minutes for our food, which arrived room temperature at best. Obviously our order had been overlooked. We spoke to to other separate tables (on our way out the door to find another restaurant) who also waited 45 minutes and received cold food. None of us were big parties: We had 2 adults and 2 children, another table was a couple with a child, and the other table was just a couple. Totally outrageous to wait that long and then receive substandard food. We had to ask for bread, we didn't even order food until about 10 minutes in, our server never introduced herself or exchanged pleasantries; luckily we were given a large bottle of water to refill our 8-oz glasses, because our server didn't check on us for 30 mins +. Our meal was comped, as it should have been, but that didn't improve the experience. Our server never appropriately apologized, either. I don't require stellar service, but I do require a server to check in and to give status updates.

We enjoyed our dinner there of Prime Rib on the special. Nice atmosphere. Good for kids and families. Wine list is okay. Short walk to the beach

From the moment I entered and the busser greeted us with a big smile and sincere happiness to getting out amazing tasting food to the time we left it was a wonderful experience. I have never been to a tourist town that showed as much appreciation as they did towards us. I highly recommend this place.

I go here alot. I'm local a love their happy hour specials, especially their fries. Their Iris Pub is a local hangout, great place to have a celebration.

After asking for a restaurant recommendation at our hotel, we found ourselves at this absolutely wonderful eatery two nights in a row!

The first night, we tried the Chicken Marsala and the Seafood Pasta. Both were amazing! We loved the angel hair pasta that was integral to each dish, too. Tonight, it was a huge chopped salad and to-die-for crab cakes (off the starters menu) for me and a scrumptious Reuben-like sandwich for my husband, accompanied by two different types of their on-tap brews. Both meals were accompanied by warm sourdough bread and the best service ever! Sonya and Danielle were so attentive and helpful with choices. Even the young men who seated us were super friendly!

We definitely recommend McKeown's for anyone looking for a great dining experience in Seaside!
