We reserved a studio suite for three (two adults & one teen) through an affordable rate ($99. per night) secured by Spotlight Dance. Our purpose of travel was to attend a National Dance Competition/Convention at Seaside Convention. The room rate we secured was for a studio: one queen bed, one queen hide away sofa, table/chairs, kitchen, washer/dryer, bathroom, deck, fireplace. Our original reservation was made by phone, with email confirmation shortly following. Closer to travel, we decreased the stay by two nights, via phone, and the staff still honored the discussed rate. The premises are non-smoking. Check-in was easy, with the staff member explaining two room options that were available. We ended up with a studio on the forth floor (4 floors total), on the mountainside, with a peek-a-view view of the river, convention center, and ocean. Upon entry the bathroom is directly to the right, and the kitchen straight ahead. The kitchen offers a 3/4 size fridge, oven/stove, small microwave, small coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, garbage disposal, sink, cubboards/drawers. It is stocked with plate, bowl, glass, mug, & utensil service for four / pots & pans / can opener, peeler, knifes, measure cups, bowls, colander, soaps and more. The items in the kitchen were sufficient for meal prep. and service. The dining area offered a sturdy table and four chairs. A slider screen and door opened to a small deck, which had two chairs and a small table. Our view (room 405) looked straight to a downtown street & mountains, to the right, and plenty viewable, there is the river, bridge, convention center, and several blocks away: the ocean. The living area offered a queen size sleeper sofa, chair, table entertainment center with lcd tv mounted above an electric fireplace. To the right of this area was a queen bed, two nightstands, and a small (yet spacious) closet. The closet racks and drawers easily held our one-week worth of garments. The bathroom (we were in a handicap accessible) offered one-sink, toilet and jet tub. The linens were thick, soft, and new appearing. Overall we were pleased with our room (clean, spacious, up-to-date. The staff members were all helpful, friendly, and seemed happy. The stay included breakfast and manager reception. Breakfast literally offered: biscuits, bagels, oatmeal, gravey, jams, butter, waffles, oranges, apples, cold cereal (captain crunch & corn flakes), hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, juices, coffee, and tea. Although we appreciated the inclusion of 'free' breakfast, this offering would not seal the deal for us. We are used to the Marriott style of 'free' breakfast. BUT, it was clean, and convenient! The managers reception offered free beverage and nuts. The pool area was very clean, had a poolside shower, and a bathroom. The pool and hottub were enjoyed by the teens traveling with us. On the 5th floor there is a 'crows nest' which is an ideal place to view downtown, the river, and the ocean. There are several louge chairs and sette chairs. Important to us, Rivertide Suites is really close to the convention center! We walked there with ease (less than one-block) with costumes and all. Additionally we walked to downtown shops and the beach. I highly recommend this site and will likely stay again!

Booked 2 nights there with family and a friend. We all loved the room. The only room on the bottom floor was perfect since it was next to the fitness room and the pool and the exit to go back outside of the condo hotel to the parking lot and no neighbors! Downside...lots of noise since you're close to the elevator and other guests talking or laughing and early in the am (about 5 am?) tons of noise from the kitchen while they prep for the morning breakfast. The other thing I didn't like was paying $10 per day for internet access and the sofa bed sheet did not look clean to me. We did not get housekeeping either after being gone the first day there. The staff was friendly though.

The upside of our visit was the view from outside of our room was nice and relaxing. They supplied some chairs out there and a nice breeze added to the nice weather viewing the small river. The tv's were nice when in the evenings we watched movies and liked the fireplace too. The kitchen was very nice, but found the cookware to be in bad shape. Kind of like the ones you may still have at home because you've had it 100 years, but not something you would actually lend someone because of the condition it is in lol. The place was clean overall the rooms were very nice and bathrooms in this 2 bedroom we booked were very nice as well. The beds were very comfy as it is hard for me to get a good nights sleep without tossing and turning aside from the early kitchen prep wake up call. The staff also informed us of the manager's meeting at 5 pm when we checked in. She said we were just in time to enjoy that but didn't get a chance to. We did partake in their complimentary breakfast and it was so-so. Hard for me to judge on that since I'm not a breakfast person but the others enjoyed the food. It was at least free so can't complain much about that.

The location was very nice and parking was easy and not an issue even though they had some other function going on that weekend. Would I go and stay there again? Yes but not on the bottom floor. Overall a pretty decent experience and appreciated a discount coupon mailed shortly after for a room in the future.

This is what we call a "condotel" in my business", various investors own units in the project and a management company runs it as a hotel for the investors. The one bedroom condo we stayed in was very nice and clean... full kitchen, granite counter tops, jetted bathtub, balcony off the living room, 2 flat screen TV's, fireplace and so on. The front desk service and the breakfast were average... 3 stars is my vote for those. This is a good property for families and larger groups.

Stayed for 3 nights, suite was great for kids. Nice kitchenette, pool and hot tub was nice. Breakfast was complimentary and there was a 'Manager's Meeting" every day at 5, free beer, wine and snacks. Would recommend to stay, however I think I might try Cannon Beach the next time we go.

This was our second time staying here, loved it so much we came back. You really couldn't ask for a better place to stay. New, clean, large affordable rooms, new appliances, flat screen TV's, close to town, close to ocean, friendly staff, free beer in the evenings. It was everything we we wanted for our getaway! I can't say enough about this place. Try it, you won't be disappointed!

I stayed here over mothers day weekend and I just loved it!! We ran into 3 maintenence problems while we were there but they were taken care of ASAP and the staff was very friendly about it. I work in the hotel industry so I know that things go wrong, its just the way of Hotels. Their staff went above and beyond to make sure the room was up to my standards. The rooms are priced appropriatly and they all include Jaccuzi tubs! The hotel has a "crows nest" that is roof access and allows for an ocean view...beautiful at sunset or rise. I would stay here again even with the minor setbacks!!

My family came here the first weekend of spring break. Even though the weather was bad we had a blast. This hotel is the best in seaside, and we've stayed at many of them. It was sort of on the pricey side, but for what you get it was well worth it.
The staff was really friendly and helpful. We arrived at the hotel early (2pm) and our room wasn't ready yet so they took our cell number and even let us keep our car in the parking lot. So we were able to take the kids to the arcade and shopping while we waited.
Our room was lovely, much nicer than I was expecting. There was a full kitchen, nice living room with a dvd player, a deck with chairs & a washer/dryer. It was really really nice to have the kids in their own separate bedroom. They really thought that was neat. Our master bedroom was excellent. The bed was very comfortable with nice linens. I liked having a 2nd tv in our room. The master bath had a jetted tub that I would like to have in my own home.
We had a great free breakfast there the next morning. The waffles were really good!
Our only complaint about the whole visit was the swimming pool & hot tub. Both had way too much chlorine. Even though I didn't get my head in the water, my eyes started burning really bad. The kids started coughing too, so we left. The other family in there was having the same problems. After we left the pool room we felt all better. I'm not sure if this is a one time problem or not. We plan on staying there again on our next trip anyway!
