We dropped in for an early Friday night dinner after reading tripadvisor reviews. Tried an appetizer after and house wine from the Happy Hour menu followed by the scallop dinner. The scallops were perfectly cooked and paired beautiful with the rest of the plate. We also tried the caramel goat cheese panna cotta and chocolate cake desserts and left the restaurant very happy eaters.
The restaurant is cozy and the service very friendly and efficient--a bit of a splurge but worth it. Check out the happy hour offerings for a very affordable alternative.

This past Sat. night we had a late dinner at Yummy Wine Bar. We have been here several times and made a reservation this time to assure we would get a table. We like to sample different menu items and pair them with a taste of different wines. This is a wonderful way to try a variety of foods without getting too full or uncomfortable.

We started with a bowl of delicious Seafood Chowder paired with a Viogner which was delicious. A large bowl was plenty to share and a small plate of homemade breads was also brought out. Our second course was the Caesar Salad with Lime dressing paired with an excellent Chardonnay. Third course was the Potstickers paired with a Zinfadel, yummy and a little spicy. Our fourth course was the Pistachio Gnocchi paired with a lovely Sauv Blanc from New Zealand. This is a beautiful dish upon presentation with sweet peas and sundried tomatoes.

For dessert we shared a Butterscotch Panna Cotta which was rich and delicious, served in a small coffee cup. Our service throughout our meal was very attentive and friendly. Yummy Wine Bar produces some of the highest quality food in the area and is not to miss, especially if you're a foodie and appreciate creative, innovative food served in a cool ambiance. :)

We loved this place! A hidden gem in touristy Seaside, this place is inviting and offers an original menu of appealing food selections along with a inviting wine selection. Their happy hour menu highlights several selections that are a great value - I had the pepperoni pizza for $12 and took half of it home with me. I liked the setup of the restaurant, as people walked in, took up residence next to the gas fireplace, and were given old-fashioned TV trays to eat on. This is a classy setup, with an imaginative menu and wine list. Go early for the happy hour specials - you will not be disappointed.
