Very clean and trendy. The theme rooms are very cool. The price is right and the owners are friendly.

The location is great. Far enough away from downtown that it's nice and quiet. Only a couple of blocks to the beach.

Nice place to stay.

A reasonably priced room, a bit of a walk to town but we didn't mind. The walk is along the beach. The vintage game room was so unique. It added a bit of whimsy to our stay. We arrived a bit early so we thought we would just park and walk down to the beach, however they let us in the room early since it was ready. The staff was very welcoming.

Room Tip: Be sure to check out the pictures of the rooms. They have several themed rooms that add to the uniqu...

I stayed here one night with my husband and 2 year old daughter. When I checked in, I immediately felt comfortable in the waiting area, which felt more like a living room than a lobby. The front desk guy was very warm and welcoming, and extremely helpful with recommendations as to what to do and eat, and tailored his recommendations to accommodate our toddler.

We had room 16, the Beach Room, with a queen bed, a queen futon and a twin bunk bed above that. A great option for kids. The room had unique beach themed decor, a curtain to separate the sleeping area from the little kitchen area and bathroom. This worked out nicely as the sleeping area stayed dim for our snoozing kid, and we stayed up and watched Goonies on the other side of the curtain. The room felt lived-in and cozy (as opposed to shiny and new), which I liked. Clean and well kept.

Across the street is a little supermarket and pub-type place, and 2 blocks away is a great breakfast/ lunch spot. We walked to the downtown area, which may have only taken 15 minutes for speed walking adults, but with a toddler it took about 30 minutes along the promenade. A pleasant walk, lined by vacation houses on one side and beach dunes and shrubbery on the other. We picked blackberries to snack on as we walked. It was definitely nice to be away from the downtown action.

Overall, it was a pleasant and refreshing change to stay at a mom n pop family owned place. I would recommend to my friends and would stay here again if ever in Seaside.

Room Tip: Choose the Beach Room if you have kids!

My sister and I stayed three nights at Sandy Cove Inn so I could attend a womens surfing retreat and the inn was the perfect location. This was the first time choosing to stay at a small property and I would (and will) return to this Inn time and time again.

Each room is a theme and I love that. The staff was helpful and movies are free.

The only thing missing was a hair dryer in the room.

Great access to the boardwalk, beach, food and more.

Clean and cozy and some rooms allow pets (when you check in your dog gets their own goodie bag).

We liked it was on the outskirts of town and not in the mess of the downtown area (much less crowded). Easy and close beach access. They gave us a great sheet of recommended restaurants and the ones we tried were great !
The room itself was small, but we weren't going for room size. Overall, I felt it was a good value for what we paid.
Definitely will be staying there again when we come back to Seaside ! Thanks !

They say you can't go home again but this time they were wrong. Our second stay at Sandy Cove was just as great as the first. Like many other reviews the quiet beach culdesac is the perfect place for us. We can always walk down the boardwalk to the craziness downtown and then retreat to our charming, super clean room with a supermarket, resturant and latte shop all across the street.
I can't remember the name of the beer bar (resturant) but their spicy mussels were so good I had them twice! It's very family friendly. Auntie M's is the perfect place for breakfast, bakery items or coffee and what ever you forgot to bring can be found at the quaint family supermarket, including a good assortment of wines.
We stayed in the jacuzzi suite which had a small kitchen and of course the deco was stunning. I would say the only drawback was the jacuzzi itself...you kinda have to climb inside, it's really tall! I only wanted to shower which was even more awkard because the rainshower isn't very powerful. But all in all I will happily come back to Sandy Cove. Next year we're getting the cottage!

Surprise awaits you outside of the hustle and bustle of Seaside! Cute and charming motel with great beds and water pressure! Walking distance to the beach, 2 blocks. Across the street from a small market, local pub and great bakery/breakfast place. 3/4 mile walk along boardwalk to Broadway. Quiet area...What more can you ask for? Almost forgot.....great staff! And dogs are allowed!
