Arrived in Sisters around lunch time and one of the girls recommended Galllery Restaurant. We had about a 10 minute wait for a table, but once seated service was good. I usually don't order fried food, but the halibut fish and chips sounded wonderful (you can order Cod if you prefer). They were delicious and a good size portion. I had plenty of fries and cole slaw with the meal. The friends I was with each enjoyed their dishes. Two of the girls asked to split a meal and there was no problem in doing this. The meal came out split up and each of them had their own plate with the meal already divided. Our drinks were kept refilled and we enjoyed our time in this restaurant.

After looking at the reviews on Tripadvisor we decided to go here for lunch. We saw that there were a few negative comments, but decided to try it anyway. We arrived at about 1pm and had no problems getting a table. Out waitress was Jackie and she was extremely helpful. She answered all of our questions and was very helpful. She took our order and we were served in a short amount of time. We both had hamburgers (blue cheese and the regular cheese burger). Both were great. I also had the clam chowder, which was also very tasty. We wanted to try a dessert, but after the meals we were both very full. We both agreed that you get a lot of food for the money. We would definitely go back there again.

A charming diner in a charming little town. Staff is friendly and helpful. The halibut fish and chips is not to be missed. Fresh, firm and flaky with a crisp batter. I do not care for slimy, frozen fish and this meal is a real pleasure. The fish and chips basket with cole slaw is plenty for one person and the full dinner is enough for two people to split - with room left for a piece of pie...
Soups are great, breakfast is always yummy.

I have never written reviews before today. This is how bad our experience was:
Though it was a busy summer Sunday afternoon, it doesn't excuse the "service" we received. We were seated at approximately 12:50. We watched as people came, ate and left. We finally received our food at 1:40. When we had asked our not-so-friendly waitress what was the hold up, her response was "they're cooking, they're cooking, they're cooking..." as she was walking away. I complained to the manager and she checked then said our food was coming right out. She reluctantly offered to comp our drinks. Whoo hoo, 2 sodas! What's that? About $.50 to them?? As we were finally eating, the manager came by and tried to explain it away by telling us that the bar was full. I explained to her that is was the server, not the bar, that was the cause. She was walking away as we were talking to her. Needless to say, we won't be returning.

Sit at the bar and listen to old and young cowpokes share stories. Meet someone hiking the PCT.

Locals...yes. Tourists...yes. Inbetweeners...yes.

Halibut and chips...a bit expensive but good.
