When in Newport we stop in for crab cocktails, calamari baskets and the salmon candy. This place is always busy but service is fast and it never takes long for your order to be in front of you! Commercial crabbing just opened and the crabs on display look marvelous and taste fantastic. Watched a guy bring in two 30 gallon cans full of crab to be cooked; wow what a haul!

If seafood restaurants were judged like dog shows, this place would take "best in class". I think they have the best fish and chips on the Central Oregon Coast. The calimari & shrimp baskets are also great. You can have a full or half Dungeness crab. This is a small place that serves as a fish market as well as a cafe so be prepared for a wait if you get there at the "lunch rush"!

Fresh Local Seafood. Reasonably priced. Mostly fried but can get grilled options. BEST oyster shooters but HOT cocktail sauce...watch out..seriously!! Not the cleanest dining room.

We made the mistake of believing we could get into a good restaurant on a Saturday night without a reservation... After driving around to 4 or so places and being turned away everywhere, the toddler in the back seat began to have a melt down. That's when we remembered passing this place on the way into town. The place is hard to miss, what with all the vintage-looking nautical decor and big crab pots steaming away by the side of the road. Desperate, we decided it would do. We were so glad we did!! Eating here was a lot more fun and memorable than a regular restaurant would have been and nobody batted an eye at the kid using ketchup to draw on the table.

Try the delicious salmon candy!

We have a family home in Seal Rock & absolutely loved the service & food here. Our group of 5 ordered everything from fresh crab, salads, soup and fish & chips. We all really enjoyed our food! The prices are pretty comparable to most restaurants in the area and their clam chowder was one of the best!!
