I've been here several times and have never been disappointed with the great food at lunch time! The food is plentiful and priced just right. The staff is very friendly and helpful! After hours is just as good, but it can get a little crowded on some nights during Happy Hour and later. This is definitely a must try for everyone!
We have never been here before, but I got a day off so my wife and I decided to stop by and take a look at the place. We were surprised when we entered to see that it was much larger than expected from the outside. Visually, it's a tavern/sports bar, but very well kept and set up nicely. Our server/ bartender was Very upbeat and interactive. She brought us menus and took our drink order immediatly. We ordered only soft drinks but set realistic expectations on the bill of fare (tavern food).
My wife received her halibut tacos and I, my SOB chicken sandwich (chicken breast with green chiles and pepper jack). This was not tavern food by any stretch of the imagination. It was delicious and freshly prepared, not pulled from a flash frozen box. A surprise from a low key, somewhat hidden locale. Loved the atmosphere, loved the service, but really loved the food!! Worth checking out.
I always order a fish item off the menu as there are a few choices and all taste really good. Especially the Baja Wrap. My husband ALWAYS orders a bacon cheeseburger almost everywhere we go and judges ALL restaurants by their ability to make a good burger. If they can't make a good burger, we don't go back. He ranks their burger as the best burger in town. He loves it, craves it, talks about it when we drive by. It's a great neighborhood spot. Their drinks are really good too. They have pool and darts and video poker. The wait staff are helpful and friendly. Really great place
First of all, it's really hard to find a neighborhood bar with good food, nice sounds, great food, good pours and clean bathrooms. Sharkeys has all of this and more. The food is delicious and huge portions. We shared the quesadilla, which was filled full of chicken, olives, onions, cheese and topped with sour cream and salsa. It was a huge portion. The owner, Lou, came over and introduced himself and we felt very welcomed. If you want a fabulous place to watch the games, have some food and good drinks, this is the place for you.
