“How often do you get to walk under a waterfall ?”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 November 2013 via mobile

This is a very fun area. Lots of hiking trails, camping, and mountain bike trails. The hiking tails are in good shape usually even when it rains. The mountain bike trails can get muddy though. If you are in the area make sure you stop and take a look, it's a one of a kind attraction.

“10 amazing waterfalls - we only saw 4 but I hope to go back and see the rest”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 November 2013

Two of the waterfalls we could actually walk around behind. One of those was a bit further from the parking lots and therefore had far less people, and it was actually quite easy to get down to the base of the falls, but there was so much water crashing down that it was a bit too scary to do so. But it was a wonderful feeling having the spray coming up to you, being in the midst of all that superb greenery. I highly recommend going midday so the sun is hitting, because everything wet looks more beautiful when the sun is shining on it. Some of the falls are just a quick walk from the parking lots, some take a bit more time. Some sections a bit steep, but nothing overly difficult.

“Amazing walk”

We accompanied our daughter and four grandsons on a 3 mile loop where we were able to see 2 of the 10 saterfalls. A must do to anyone who likes to hike and see beautiful country side. Short drive from Portland and worth every minute.

“Excellent place to recreate”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 November 2013

Sliver Falls is just a great place. If you like the outdoors, there is something for you. The Lodge and the Trail of 10 Falls was built by the CCC and it is lovely. There is a small visitors display here that talks about the history of the area. It also houses a simple but adequate café for a lunch or snack. There are group facilities, too, for weddings, etc.in the day use area. And talk about TRAILS! There are trails for all: Bikes, hikers and horses. Be aware that there are no dogs allowed on in the canyon trails. We saw a couple of folks who had dogs anyway - guess they couldn't understand the big sign with the symbol of the dog crossed out. There are trails that dogs are allowed on just not the Trail of Ten Falls. It is a really beautiful place to spend some time.
