Bring your appetite when you come to the Bar and Grill. Portion size is bigger than we expected but very good food.

Food was tasty, but nothing special. Nothing stood out as very unique––it was all basic food.

Beware of the garlic! Almost everything in certain dishes was stuffed with it (things that you wouldn't expect, like steamed broccoli), and someone in my party has a mild allergy to garlic but just had to eat it.

The burgers are great but the fries are awesome. Salads are good as well. Portion sizes are generous. Looks like they will be in a brand new building spring 2012 right next to its current location.

We consider the Village Bar and Grill a diner. Centrally located in the Sunriver Village Mall, this is a good option for getting a solid meal at a good price. There is a bar section as well as a separate restaurant. The wait staff are welcoming and friendly; this is a pleasant place to grab a quick meal. Furthermore, they have ample seating; while other restaurants in the mall may have a long wait they can accommodate a lot of people and tables clear more quickly.

The food is consistent. From dinner salads to burgers, grilled sandwiches, chili, soup, the portions are large and taste good. Unfortunately its all sort of one note; the variety is smaller than a large chain diner, but if you like fries with everything this is the place.

In the winter this is a good warm place to stop in for a quick meal, but the real fun is in the summer. From late May through early September there is a small "Starry Nights" free concert in the courtyard outside the Village Bar and Grill. Wednesday through Friday nights beginning at 7:00 PM an entertainer plays 60s and 70s songs and it is a lot of fun. Audience participation is a must as he calls people up to dance or "accompany" him in a song. Guests dine on the outdoor patio and sit in loosely arranged chairs on the grass to enjoy the show. An outdoor bar is available throughout the concerts, and food is often available as well.

Recommended for a reasonable diner meal at a reasonable price. Highly suggest attendance at one of the Starry Night shows!
