It's worth a stop to see the raptors, and visitor center. Good for kids and has a nice little gift shop.

Wish there were more live animals, but enjoyed overall. Our 3 and 5 year olds thought it was fun, but after paying $14 for the family I do wish there were more LIVE animals to see.

Our kids just did their first camp at the Nature Center and loved it - thanks to Haley and her Creatures of the Night camp! We went back for the Friday evening Owl Prowl and really enjoyed that as a family too - then went back to our rental house and identified a porcupine nest up in a tree, which we would never have noticed before! This is a great facility worth supporting and lots of fun for families. Very hands-on, fun to meet all the birds on site, and friendly naturalists.

This is a little oasis in the middle of the commercialization that defines much of Sunriver. For $4 you can spend an hour or two learning about nature, having an encounter with a raptor or viewing an substantial meteorite collection. There are lots of hands-on for the kids and good information for adults. Friendly staff are always available to help or answer questions. A very low-key environment. Go with an open mind and leave with it full - Painlessly.

The best thing about this place is the raptors. We saw two owls and a Golden eagle. Friendly and informative staff. High Desert Museum has more to offer.
