My husband and I travelled from Portland for the day and ended up staying the night, the hotel we stayed at recommended Koko's to us as the "better than any restaurant in Portland" A) it is difficult to locate on an unkept road jutting off Hwy 101 with very little signage. B) The highlight is that the place is gorgeous!! Whoever built it spared no expense. White linen table clothes, nice table presentation and unique menu design. C) the food, food was good, but doesn't match menu on website, wasn't too badly priced considering you get bread and salad with your entree. D) And then the service, well the service was not what you would expect at a place like this, on a Saturday night you would think they would have enough staff at least, not only was it slow but chaotic, coming from a restaurant background I could see it was clearly a mismanagement issue. They were trying hard but failed, perhaps it is better when slow? I wouldn't recommend Koko's as "better than any restaurant in Portland" maybe in Tillamook, though it is easy to compete with seedy bars and fast food!
