Visited Koko's on a trip through Tillamook. Had the braised short ribs and they were fork tender and delicious. The serving size was more than ample. We would recommend that if you are traveling through Tillamook, check out Koko's.

Food: Delicious
Ambiance: Elegant considering it was Tillamook County.
Service: Exceptional - Our server Athena and her coworkers went above & beyond!
Order in Question: Duck Confit Leg & Thigh $29
Concern: Meal did not meet menu description - Leg/Yes Thigh/ BONE ONLY no meat no skin!
Resolution: Our server discussed this w/ Chef & offered free dessert.
My response: I don't want anything for free, just what was stated on menu for $29

We have been to the Tillamook area several times over the years, and we're always looking for something off of the beaten path. We picked Koko's from Tripadviser and what a pleasant surprise.

We had a most delightful lunch served by a most delightful waitress. Morgan, our waitress, is from the local area and took time to chat about the local sights, the menu, the history of the restaurant, and other interesting topics.

We food was excellent, well plated and fresh. We ate out on the deck, it was a perfect day. The menu was a little limited but it was the lunch menu so that's expected.

We will definitely be back for dinner to check out the dinner menu.

While we were spending a few days in the Tillamook area we happened upon Koko's, an unexpected pleasant surprise. Unlike the rather blue collar charm found in most of the area eating establishments Koko's is a diamond in the rough. No pun intended, even though Koko's is located in the Alderbrook Golf Course.
The food is well prepared, artfully plated, and served in beautiful surroundings. The food is well worth the trip and the building and it's appointments are a wonderful bonus. Service was excellent as well.

My husband and I travelled from Portland for the day and ended up staying the night, the hotel we stayed at recommended Koko's to us as the "better than any restaurant in Portland" A) it is difficult to locate on an unkept road jutting off Hwy 101 with very little signage. B) The highlight is that the place is gorgeous!! Whoever built it spared no expense. White linen table clothes, nice table presentation and unique menu design. C) the food, food was good, but doesn't match menu on website, wasn't too badly priced considering you get bread and salad with your entree. D) And then the service, well the service was not what you would expect at a place like this, on a Saturday night you would think they would have enough staff at least, not only was it slow but chaotic, coming from a restaurant background I could see it was clearly a mismanagement issue. They were trying hard but failed, perhaps it is better when slow? I wouldn't recommend Koko's as "better than any restaurant in Portland" maybe in Tillamook, though it is easy to compete with seedy bars and fast food!
