“Solid hotel-friendly staff- some noise issues”
Reviewed 12 June 2014

We rolled in around 8pm after a day of driving the coast. I haven't loved the Shilo chain in the past and this was the "other" hotel in town. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, if on the soft side. The front desk and breakfast staff were all wonderfully helpful and friendly. They really seemed to "get" customer service. We had a room with a king bed. There was plenty of floor space on both sides. The bathroom was large with nice shampoo and conditioner. And the shower was clean (the wall paper above was a bit water damaged).

We were in a room at the end toward the Fred Meyer, and the staff there started leaf-blowing before 7am. This woke my husband up and kept him from sleeping again.

We paid around $100 including tax which seemed reasonable. The breakfast was nice to have, but a bit on the bland side. Won't complain too much about "free".

I would stay here again, if I knew there wasn't leaf blowing in the early morning.

Service was very good at this location. Hotel rooms are dated. We booked a room and the a/c unit was not working, so we contacted the front desk, and they resolved the situation by providing us another room. Great efficient service. Keep up the Customer Relations!

Rooms are dated and have a musky smell. The location is very good - next door to Fred Meyers and down the road fro the Tillamook Cheese Factory. Based on the customer service and location, I would say this hotel is a 4 overall. Factor of rooms being dated, I would only give 2-3. Did not try their breakfast as it ended at 9am. Parking available. Elevator available, was a bit slow.

The lobby is very inviting and is more modern than the rooms. If you need a quick stop - this is your place.

Room Tip: Rooms are a bit musky and lighting is dim. See room and test out items prior to unpacking.

We found this hotel to be quite a surprise. Clean, upscale, with friendly and helpful staff. If your goal is to visit Tillamook Cheese Factory and the Blue Heron Cheese and wine tasting you could not get a better hotel, with a better location. The beds were very comfortable and we both were able to get a good nights sleep. The breakfast was terrific....6 items to chose from that were cooked and brought to your table or you could serve yourself from the usual choices of regular continental breakfast, ie instant oatmeal, toast, bagels, pastry, etc.

This hotel sits behind the Goodwill store and across the street from Fred Myers, which lent itself nicely for shopping. It is far enough off of the main road that you do not hear the road traffic on Hwy 101.

Room Tip: Don't have a tip on how to choose a good room, our room was on the 2nd floor and faced the road...

The workers of the Ashley inn were excellent and nice to me. The breakfast was good and all around just a good place to stay. Tillamook is a nice change from the city. So many nice people. Thank you for a great experience

I was very surprised to find such a charming hotel in the middle of the night. The front desk girl Deana was very helpful. She made checkin pleasant yet quick. In the morning the made to order was very good and a great change from the normal grab it buffets that you normally get. Overall me stay was great. The rooms do need a good dusting more often though.

This hotel was dirty and the beds were uncomfortable. The voucher breakfast made my daughter sick.
My room was not cleaned if I left after 10:00a.m. and when I pursued this with the front desk it was my fault for not letting them know when we had left...why is that my responsibilty? Shouldn't the cleaning staff check my room before they leave to see if the Do Not Disturb sign is taken down? I cannot recommend this hotel, stay somewhere else.

My boyfriend and I stayed here while we were visiting family and it was great! The front desk staff Megan and Keasha were very nice and accommodating. The room was also very spacious and the bed was very comfortable.
