“Great breakfast”

On the expensive side for dinner so we didn't eat there. Breakfast was good though with average prices.

“Not impressed at all”
Reviewed 17 May 2014

Most of my review is based on the food and beverage that I had at this location. If you are going for the "experience"....please enjoy the unbelievably beautiful grounds. If you are going for your dining pleasure, please skip this place and go another mile or two down the road to Troutini. We ate here for 2 different meals, on two different days and weren't impressed with our food, wine or beer. Overpriced and underwhelming I think.

“Pop into the Bunny Hole”
Reviewed 5 May 2014

The Black Rabbit is a great restaurant tucked away in McMenamins at Edgewood. The food was excellent and so was the service. Things were hopin and the wait staff was busy, but they got caught up and made us happy. But the food and service is only a small part of the draw at this property. There is a hotel, several bars, spa, and pool here as well.

The whole facility is a throwback from days gone by. It was actually a poor farm and has a storied history worth investigating. I recommend that you take a good 4 hours to investigate the entire property and then grab something to eat at the Black Rabbit. You won't regret it!

“Dinner and Breakfast”
Reviewed 6 April 2014

Awesome food and great service. The bloody marys are a treat and the food was outstanding. I had the quiche and my wife the frittata. Sat at the bar and was treated to a great conversation with the bartenders and several other couples enjoying breakfast. Dinner was awesome as well.
