The owners truly enhance this pleasant countrified B & B. The house is comfortable and large and you can use the dining room for your evening repast if you haven't dined at the local pub. Just like home. Lisa & David love to serve breakfast as they had a cafe-diner in another phase of life. Getting up early to feed the hens is a daily joy for them so you can have your breakfast early. Those fresh natural free run eggs are the best especially if paired with the tasty hash. They also source some of the best bacon we have had. The chicken coop is just down the road. Your hosts are very knowledgeable about local wines and vineyards and their suggestions are worth noting for your wine tours (you must take some time for the local small vineyards). Wasco is a quaint village surrounded by some glorious back roads for driving or cycling (well paved and little used). The B & B has historic elements in design (a lovely front porch for sipping those great wines) and its owner history. Your hosts also provide local maps and info Hood River is 1 hr. east. The Columbia River valley is 1/2 hr north. Oregon Race Track is 1/2 south.
