Large spacious rooms (get the King with Fireplace) with a clean modern decor. This place is a hidden gem on Mt. Hood. Quiet and (did I say) clean. Good coffee is available in the rooms, but you are on your own for breakfast.

Room Tip: You are on your own for breakfast, but coffee is available in room. Too bad that they don't hav...

We have always driven past the Resort on the way up to Mt. Hood and been curious about it, so purchased a Travelzoo offer to stay for one night. We weren't really sure what to expect, but the whole place was very nice and well-taken care of, room was modern and spacious, used the hot tub and gym, and were even impressed with the food, service and ambiance at Altitude restaurant.(usually hotel food leaves something to be desired) The whole staff was very friendly.
Not sure why the winter rates are so reasonable, maybe it's more of a summer destination? We will be back, either way. They even offer discount lift tickets and ski rentals.

Room Tip: If you book a standard(deluxe) room, and then are offered an upgrade to the fireplace room for a sma...

The staff here is great and so helpful. The rooms have great touches throughout and are very clean. The bathrooms and rooms feel "high class" and are very large. Beautiful resort! I really wish we could have stayed longer! Definitely exceeded all our expectations and I can't say enough good about their staff. Very welcoming!

i agree, looking from outside, looks like a converted apartment complex. But when i saw my room, i was blown away. i stayed in a King with Fireplace. It was probably the biggest room i've ever stayed in. Bed was awesome, everything was clean, everything worked. The bathroom was large, everything was marble. Large shower (no tub) with awesome "rain style" shower head. Top of the line soap, conditioner, body wash, etc. Room had quiet central air/heat (with thermostat) and air/heat wall unit (did not use). Check-in was no issue, staff extremely friendly. Walked by the pool, did not get in. Guests were in it, must have been heated pool. Did not use/see other resort ammenities. Restaurant was "upsale" and a bit pricey, menu was a bit exotic. Mt Hood SKI-BOWL was only 10miles away. Not sure if resort had shuttle service, but we drove anyway.

Room Tip: 2nd floor rooms more quiet, dont have to hear kids running above you.

We booked an overnight stay at the resort including a couples massage first thing in the morning. It was a short, sweet trip that included dinner and drinks along with a relaxing swim in the heated pool and rejuvenating dip in the hot tub. We ate at Altitude and enjoyed a nice dinner, the service was a little slow but our waiter apologized and gave us a free dessert so all was fair. We would recommend this resort again and again for their hospitality and kindness.

My boyfriend and I chose this location because we were expecting to get dumped on and they had a shuttle that went up to the ski resorts. Unfortunately they cancelled the shuttle during our stay because of the snowstorm. Just when we were getting some fresh pow....

The room was great. We brought a dog with us. The buildings were dated on the outside but the inside was well maintained and had a modern decor. The pet friendly building included a closed in area for dogs that is accessible by the sliding door leading out to the patio side of the room.

Due to the cancellation of the ski shuttle, my boyfriend and I decided to drive up to Ski Bowl ourselves and the nice gal at the front desk (I think her name was Karlee) accommodated a later check out for us so we can go play at the mountain and our dog had a place to hang out in while were up there.

My boyfriend and I did not like the gal that was at the front desk the night before who was kind of snotty when we found out about the shuttle being cancelled. We were told upon making the reservation that it was available so imagine how upset we were when we found out it was cancelled. Karlee was available to turn it all around and saved our stay. She was very professional and understanding unlike the gal that was scheduled the night before.

Room Tip: If calling to make a reservation, call the actual hotel to find out if the shuttle service is workin...

I honestly cannot compliment this facility and its staff enough. I bought a groupon to come to the resort and expected to have a good time, but they exceeded all of my expectations. From the check-in to the food to the spa to the room, it was all wonderful. We felt welcomed by every single staff member and the amenities were all well kept. I cannot recommend the spa at this resort enough. The treatment was fantastic and the staff made my whole party have a wonderful day. We were so relaxed. We went away for a girls weekend and truly did not want to come home.

Room Tip: We had a room in lot #8, it was great and close to the hot tub, restaurant, and pool.
