The condo is well-appointed and in very good condition. There was a deck and a grill in the back, which overlooked part of a golf course. Free Wifi and a helpful staff made this vacation one of our best. The setting, a little south of Mt. Hood, on the Salmon River, was in between the town of Sandy and Trillian Lake (south of Mt Hood), and not terribly far from the Columbia River (North). We visited wineries and fruit stands in the Hood River area, and that was a bit of a trip, but the roads are quite good. Timberline Lodge is a terrific sight though the restaurant was just average. Government Camp offers good views of Mt. Hood and interesting historical info. Trillian Lake offers the best view of Mt. Hood in a setting that is gorgeous by itself, and it had pretty good walking trails--in some need of repair, but we still got in a good walk.
