Just returned from a week in Anguilla and we ate at 7 different restaurants. Veya is by far the best. Most of the restaurants on island are amateur hour. They suffer from poorly trained staff, slow service and inconsistent food. Veya is a professional place that is obvious from the moment you walk in. Beautiful structure, nice design and a fully staffed out restaurant. Great training. Most importantly the food was excellent. both Apps and Entrees. Didn't try dessert. Too full.
We had Conch fritters, Calamari, Shrimp Cigars, and raw conch. All excellent. My main dish was the Red Snapper which was large in size and the mashed potatoes and excellent companion. We also had the duck, ribeye and shrimp. Again very consistent and good. The prices are only slightly higher but well worth it.

This place is simply magical - you are basically eating in a giant Tree-House! The food is all beyond delicious and the setting is just as impressive. Great live music downstairs, fantastic ambiance and vibe - very unique and memorable - GO HERE!

Our meal was so much better when we first went in May 2013. In fact it WAS our favorite restaurant out of 14 spots back then! But this time, it was not our favorite at all. And we were seated looking out at a parked car in the back with a generator. A very different experience and therefore disappointing. REALLY missed the parsnip soup from 2013 :(

This was a second visit and as amazing as the first time. Unique setting and wonderful staff.

The food is truly unique and delicious. Unexpected combinations. The shrimp with grilled watermelon was absolutely delicious. Picture of appetizer is below

Entertainment too. Both times have been great.
