“Terribly rude staff!!!”
Reviewed 16 June 2014

I would not recommend this site! Only stayed one night but worst of our whole 3 week vacation by a mile! Staff was extremely rude. All signs indicated pool was open until 8:30 and when about 15 of us, more than half children 9 and under, went in the pool a lady came out screaming at us. First she lied and said our skin was being burned by chemicals. If that didn't scare the kids enough she then screamed she was phoning the police on us frightening the children further. We pleaded for just 15!minutes in the water as our kids had just been in the car for 10 hours to get there and we had picked this site hugely because of the pool to no avail. After waiting until the pool opened the next day a different lady came out screaming at us that the three year old that was holding a tennis ball container was not allowed plastic in the pool. She then yelled at me that the water needed to stay in the pool and after I questioned what she meant as it was raining and everything was wet she yelled I know and slammed the door. The only other area for the kids to play is a small playground that was so over grown the three year old could get lost!!! Not family friendly and terribly rude staff!!! Never will we go back and if you have kids I strongly recommend staying elsewhere!!!

We stayed one night and would not come back. Why you ask.... well, the location is fine, the price was ok, and the Site was what we needed, internet as mentioned above sucked....but the main problem was the very rude interaction with the staff.

When we reserved our sites, we told them we needed a place with a pool. They said they had a pool and it was open until 830 pm. We told them we would be arriving at around 6 pm. After driving almost 9 hours with 4 kids, we arrived. The sign on the pool said open until 830. The gate was open and a lady with her two children were swimming. There was a rope that said pool closed. Talk about conflicting messages!!

Bad parent that I am, I told the kids to go swimming. So they did. Two minutes later, a lady ran out from the office screaming at the kids to get out cause they were going to get burned from all the chemicals. After trying to calm her down to no avail, I determined that the kids were safe, the pool was going to be 'shocked' that evening and no one was at risk. She had lied and the kids were not at risk. We tried to reason with her, but instead, she kept yelling at the kids, frightening them.

It would have been great to have an adult conversation and discuss my bad parenting decision (letting the kids go swimming contrary to the rope being up) privately but this was not going to happen. When she threatened to call 911 and the police, I went for a swim for a few minutes, then gathered the kids and left. She knew where to find us if she wanted to discuss in private, again she did not.

Next morning, while many many families and kids were swimming, a different lady came out and yelled at a 5 year old boy for having a plastic tennis ball holder in the pool. She was screaming again!! "No plastic in the pool" was her mantra that she repeated several times at the top of her voice. She then yelled at another Mom for shaking water out of a water gun before packing it up and putting it away, yelling that the water has to stay in the pool.

Again, all of this was in front of children. So, yes, bad choice on my part to allow the children to go swimming and ignoring the rope. (Even though we were told pool was open, people were swimming and signage said open tip 830 pm) Sure, I may be an absolute terrible parent but please, grow up, act like you ar win the hospitality business and talk like an adult, not screaming at children......

Due to this, our family WILL NEVER return here and would urge other families or those wanting Internet to stay away. Oh yeah, the kids park was way overgrown and in need of a cut. The grass was higher than our three year old.

The place was clean and quiet; a great place to stop and catch your breath. No probs with my 40' 5w, either turning or fitting into pull thru space. Walk to lots of outlet stores. Walmart 5 min away across I-5. We'll stop there on the way back.

This place was super clean. The people at service were awesome. The biggest and worst drawback was that the Internet (with 3 servers) was not enough for 150 plus rigs. We were not able to get Internet at all for any device in our four day stay. The price was right but we expected Internet since it was advertised.

This place is GREAT.
However the price of a monthly stay is OVER THE MOON $455.00
They are not going to be there much longer without changing MANAGEMENT OR OWNERSHIP. I have heard a lot of monthly people have moved because of the price increase.
In 2 years they have went up over $60.00. That may seem small but they charge for electric on top of that.

This RV Park is located behind the Woodburn Outlet Mall, it is close to the I-5 and very clean. The surrounding area also has many gas stations and a Walmart. We have stayed twice and the washrooms and showers are always super clean. The pool is open in the summer and is very well maintained. The back gate takes you directly to the shopping and the Starbucks is very close by. we stayed in a tent trailer , which is the smallest RV you will see there. It is designed for much bigger rigs and no tenting is aloud.

We stayed here on our way to San Diego. It's very close to the freeway and backs onto a Outlet Mall (which was great because my daughter forgot to pack her runners!) The front desk staff were so sweet and amazing - and reminded me of the BCAA discount. They were very helpful. We recommended this RV park to my parents and they enjoyed it as well.
