We have been patronizing this gem many times all the way from our home in Canada. We love the comfort and solitude of this resort and the convenience of its on site restaurant. The bar loft and library reading room are a nice touch. The gym and pool/sauna facilities are well done and even have a wading pool for the little kids. The selection of room types is good; this trip, we had selected a king bed, with fridge, microwave and fireplace. Our room had a glorious ocean view. There's an Oregon walking trail nearby. One section of the hotel is pet friendly for a nominal fee. The restaurant has a decent menu; the crab cakes were nicely done with a curry and apple tartar sauce. There is an early bird dinner menu available during 5-6:00 p.m. The only thing that might be a nice extra would be some outdoor lounges near the pool facility, weather permitting. There are other eateries in the area, and we recommend the Drift Inn Pub, but stay with The Adobe Restaurant if you want mellow with an ocean view.

Room Tip: There are suites with jacuzzi tubs available, also larger suites. Some pet friendly units are avail...

I lived in Eugene Oregon for 22 yrs. and moved to Florida. Return every summer. Last time my winnings payed for this lovely suite with a hot tub over looking the ocean. I would stay here even if I had to pay out of my pocket. Romantic, great food and such a visual delight. Oh yes,no alligators. Michael Gonzalez

Room Tip: Dosen t matter, cant lose.

This was an unexpected pleasure during our road trip along the west coast. We were looking for a budget hotel, but did not like the one we stopped at in Yachats and this was our second try. A little bit more expensive than our budget plans, but definitely worth it! A huge room facing the ocean, a spectacular view and a fun restaurant. We are so pleased that we stayed there. The food was good (shrimp = yumm) and so was the wine selection. The hotel is a bit outdated, true, but there is a story to it, which makes it fun.

The view is what you are paying for. Period. Rooms are nice and clean but slightly outdated (brown leather Lazy Boy love seat, anyone?) We had a jacuzzi room facing the ocean. The jacuzzi was at the window so it was very romantic for our 10th anniversary night. We got all dressed up and went down to the restaurant, ordered our food. The waiter suggested I order something else as the menu item I'd chosen had been on the menu for 30 years. When our food came, I think we were transported back to 1975 as the waiter stood there with a tray of "fixings" to add to our baked potato. I have never, in my life, seen a bowl of butter look so disgusting. What did they do to it? The steak was so thick and undercooked, we had to send it back (not to mention it was smothered in butter sauce? What is this and why doesn't it say on the menu that the steak was covered in artery hardener so you could at least say, hold the sauce?) The cut of meat was cheap. The baked potato was inedible. With the first harvest of fresh asparagus available everywhere else on the coast, this "resort" served cauliflower as their "vegetable du jour" even thought the sign outside the hotel says "Local Lincoln." Upon check out, I saw the chef in the hall. He looked as uninspired and tired as the food. Also, if they are going to call themselves a resort, they could have done a nicer job on their pool.

Room Tip: Obviously get a room facing the ocean - it's what you're paying for. Don't expect much i...

Excellent! The staff was helpful and smiling, grounds and room immaculate. Bed was a little hard, but not terrible. Huge bathroom, huge balcony and so very quiet. I never heard anyone in the halls or other rooms. No tv noise, no water running noise, no barking. Very very quiet. Doggy towels and treats provided. It was great!

Wonderful family friendly hotel!! We took our three children (12, 10, and 7) and they loved it!! The room and view were great! The large pool, hot tub, and sauna were a big hit!! It was a perfect family get away, very relaxing, and wonderful service. The restaurant has the BEST views, and is great for families. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!! Thank you so much for such a great vacation!!!!

A very comfortable stay. We stayed 2 nights. The restaurant is very good & the bar is equally attractive. Free popcorn. Salad bar was good. We've been here before & will come again.

Room Tip: All sea side rooms are close to the ocean. Others saw whales (I didn't). Last year two whales...
