That road on the south end of the bridge at the south end of town? For years we rented a cabin. It was a perfect place in all seasons.....so much so, we built a house right on the edge of the rocks. Come visit a little piece of heaven

“Great scenic drive”
Reviewed 4 May 2014 via mobile

We're always down for a road trip in my family and this is a great drive! Lots of neat little towns along the way, great views, and plenty of scenic overlooks to explore around.

We drove out here for devils churn near Yachats and it was gorgeous!

“Amazing!”
Reviewed 26 April 2014

Driving the Oregon coastline is so beautiful. Really different from my home beaches of
Southern California. The rugged coastline, tide pools, wide sandy beaches with huge rock formations that sit just out in the surf.... Also, very few people are walking the beaches since it's generally fairly windy and chilly. But really, that only adds to the romantic charm of this area.

“rugged coastline”
Reviewed 8 April 2014

Beautiful rugged coastline, roaring ocean and great stopover between Seattle and San Francisco. It was wet and windy but still amazing!

“Great drive”
Reviewed 4 April 2014

The section of coast between Yachats and Florence is really beautiful and fun to drive. There are a lot of little beaches along the way, so stop as often as you like. The beaches are pretty deserted, so it's just you, the birds, and the waves. Many of the beaches have little creeks that empty onto them. These beaches are great for beachcombing because you can find agates that wash ashore. They come down from the mountains in the creeks, the ocean helpfully tumbles them for you, and you have a beautiful souvenir from your time on the Oregon coast.
