From the beautiful Victorian decor, native artwork and ambience to the most delightful breakfasts, this place rate high marks all the way around. The Georges were terrific hosts and no detail was left undone. The scones were scrumptious but so were the bananas Foster pancakes. Very convenient location to everything.

My wife and I spent a weekend recently at the Chancellor's House in Bedford, PA. It was among the best B&B's we've stayed at. The Innkeepers run a first class operation and are warm and friendly. Wine and cheese in the Library take you back to the days of the original owner of the house who was the Chancellor of the University of Pittsburgh. Breakfast was superb. The Inn itself is extremely well kept, close enought to town to walk and in a quite and well maintained neighborhood. This is a definite "keeper" and one to return to again and again!!!!

Lovely antiqued filled home, beautiful gardens, relaxing porch, and top notch meals!! I can't wait to return...it is a peaceful and quiet area nestled in the mountains. There is lots to see and do in the surrounding area. A great getaway!

The Chancellor's House is a lovely property with an interesting history! The owners Steve and Lynn work hard to accommodate guests needs-- even loaning their personal laptop! Breakfasts are stellar and unique...the carrot muffins very tasty and crepe to die for! We enjoyed the little town of Bedford and the nearby resort and spa. If you are looking for a B & B experience, the Chancellor's House will not disappoint!

The locals recommend the restaurant Jean Bonnet but we were not impressed...the food was fried and bland/service mediocre.

My husband and I were in the area for a family memorial service - not the best reason to visit anywhere. My sister suggested we stay in Bedford and we discovered the Chancellor's House when I did an online search. I love interesting china, sumptuous bed linens, fun flower gardens and good food. Lynn and Steve did it all plus a peaceful retreat. We walked to a local tavern one night and visited the famed 'springs' another night. The Chancellor's House really was a find for us and made a sad event so much more pleasant.
