We really enjoyed the food. We went on saturday and learned the history of the place and
where all the fresh ingredients come from. We then shopped at there farmer's market and
picked up the last of the season green peppers and potatoes. We will come back for dinner.

“Disappointing”
Reviewed 30 October 2013

Our family ate lunch here in late August. The ingredients that they used were very fresh, locally grown and high quality. The dishes overall, however, were a let down. Grilled cheese sandwiches had very little cheese. Several dishes were incomplete - we had to ask for things that were missing (e.g. salsa, bread). Service was very sluggish and it wasn't that crowded. The prices were pretty high for what we got.

“Best meal in Bedford... And beats most other meals, too!”
Reviewed 26 October 2013

Girls weekend. By the time we left, we were the only ones in the restaurant. Our waiter, Dylan, explained the history of the building, gave us a tour and even gave us a lesson on Kombucha- with a starter kit to-go. We had a sampling of everything and enjoyed every bite. This restaurant CANNOT go away. Support local!

“A Lovely Dining Experience”
Reviewed 14 October 2013

The Horn of Plenty restaurant served up great service, fresh food, and a delightful wood fire to make this a great dining experience. I had the sausage roasted pepper and vegie sandwich. It was tasty and yet not too spicy. My wife had the twice baked potato platter. It too, was quite good but it could have been hotter. (Temperature not spicier) The food was advertised as right from the farm next door and I believe it. The décor is rustic with the table legs made out of rough cut 2X4s. The chairs were from an old school house. This is certainly not your usual dining experience (that’s good!). All in all, it was a nice experience, a great value, and I would go back.

“Fresh and unique”
Reviewed 6 October 2013 via mobile

You know it's fresh when you can walk across the yard an buy the ingredients in their own farmer's market. The menu changes daily based on what is in season on their farm. We had an excellent pizza smothered in fresh veggies and local cheese. And the soups- hearty, delicious, and home made. The place is very casual, with rustic tables and chairs. Definitely worth a visit!
