Not really one for writing reviews about any experience, but my wife and I have dined here many times, and have NEVER been disappointed. The food and service are very comparable if not better than any high end restaurant you would find around the US, except the cost is well below the norm for these types of establishments. The place is somewhat small, so you will definitely need reservations especially on the weekend. This will change somewhat with their new expansion in the future. Nick and Sara, the owners who cook and actually run the show, are awesome and friendly. Look out Food-Network.....you could have a story in little old Bedford, Pennsylvania!

The food here is delicious! It's a BYOB place and very small with something like 6 tables and 3 booths. We had to get permission from the chef to come in because we showed up late. It was worth it. The butternut squash is heavenly.

There was a group of us for lunch and none were disappointed in the food. Everything was soooo fresh and tasty. The tomato basil soup is rich and a favorite. All of her salads were crisp and tasty. The chicken sandwich with pesto aioli was great.

Always depend on Trip Advisor to steer me right and this was a bullseye. Stopped for lunch while traveling. Sleek decorations and great service started things of right. Had a fantastic pulled pork sandwich and a unique corn bisque that tasted fresh picked. As my wife and I began to unwind and enjoy the stop, we spotted a special treat. Creme Brûlée. It was a smores and just killer.
Already
plan to stop again when in Bedford.

We had the pleasure of dining at this extremely delicious and fine restaurant when staying at the Omni Hotel in Bedford. We wish it had been open the other two days we were there as we would have eaten there again and again. The hostess/owner Sarah is just wonderful and her husband Nick is the Chef. She informed us that they were taking over the storefront next to them and would be adding to the restaurant, which they should. It was romantic and the service is perfect along with excellent menu selections. Anything you order will be fabulous. We ordered for appetizers the Crispy Shrimp and Stuffed Mushrooms which were beyond delicious, then we shared the Pear & Gorgonzola Salad. For dinner we had the Pork Special and Herb Salmon equally perfect. Absolutely save room for dessert. A perfectly delicious meal. Do not even think of not going to this restaurant or you haven't been to Bedford, PA. It absolutely beats any of the restaurants in the Omni Springs Resort. Another added attraction is that it is a BYOB, but they do charge a corkage fee (this was the only thing that I thought was inappropriate for such a restaurant of this caliber---kind of petty).

Sarah told us the story which I think was charming of how she and Nick (Chef/Owner) both worked at the Omni and that is where they met and fell in love. They both dreamed of opening a restaurant, and now they have realized their dream and they are extremely successful at it. They both compliment each other. The name of the restaurant is their wedding date. Wonderful couple, romantic story and fantastic people who deserve only the best and much success.
