Love the Omni Bedford Springs Hotel. Casual setting, relaxed atmosphere and a casual dress code. Excellent food choices (especially for Celiac-gluten free guests) and nice rooms. Plenty of amenities to choose from, or maybe a rocking chair, chase lounge or chair by the fireplace.

This place is amazing....from the time you arrive to the time you leave... the service is superior and the room was spacious with a balcony (on Spa side=the best). The bathroom was nice and clean as well as a soft bed. It makes you not want to leave your room. Room service is quick and the food is still hot.

We truly enjoyed the spa! We will are planning to go back... just for the spa. There is no rush to get in or to get out. You are treated as a family member. Water, tea, fruit and nuts are provided.

We enjoyed the Crystal Room the best. The food was delicious and the drinks were spot on! Bedford Springs is definitely our home away from home!!!

Note: When driving on the local roads, please drive the speed limit.... 35 mph.

Room Tip: Stay on the Spa side of the hotel.

What a lovely old inn with history. The property itself is wonderful and definitely very beautiful. All the common areas were filled with seating, historical photos and information on the history of the resort. The Tavern had good food, decent prices and a lively scene. The billiard area was a bit worn but we played a couple games and enjoyed it. The seating areas in the tavern are also cozy and well placed. Buy the s'mores kit from the tavern and enjoy the fire pit. Much easier than trying to bring your own supplies. Breakfast was delicious as well. We don't care much for buffets so we ordered off the menu which had a good range of options. We did a 2 mile hike through the lovely woodland across the street. There is a beautiful tree swing hanging from one of the trees on the front lawn. The spa was wonderful. The staff told us how to use all the facilities. The quiet room was relaxing and large with plenty of seating for all. The spa garden was quiet and pretty. We also used the outdoor pool for a couple hours and there were plenty of towels and the servers were very attentive but not overbearing.

The only negative of our stay was our room. It was large and well appointed but it was very "tired". The carpet had many large dirty spots thru out the room. The side table was nicked and worn as well as the TV armoire. The walls were quite thin and we heard our neighbors loud talking until 12:30 am. Perhaps the most annoying was the a/c unit. Every time it cycled on, the closet doors vibrated. We could remedy it by opening the closet door a bit but, then the light came on and lit up the dark room. In all fairness, we did not bring this to the attention of maintenance because we only noticed it when we turned off the TV to go to sleep. We didn't want to deal with changing rooms late at night so we jammed paper in-between the doors to try to alleviate the vibration.

All in all, we enjoyed our stay. The staff was very attentive and I think it reasonable to assume that if I did address the issues they would have tried to rectify the problem. The room we stayed in seemed to need a bit of TLC but other than that, it is a beautiful property.

(Also, at the fire pit we found that everyone around the pit with the exception of us, were using a Groupon for their stay. I'm keeping my eye out for this one...it would def be worth another trip...especially with a discounted rate.)

Nice place but our experience was overshadowed by their gift card system being inoperable which meant we had to spend $500 in cash that we were planning to spend with gift cards our kids bought us for our anniversary.

The service was impeccable throughout the hotel. However, the prices in the hotel restaurants/room service were absolutely outrageous. When I checked in, due to a special diet, we needed 6 cooked eggs quickly -- which came but for $17. Also, some of the things charged for are ridiculous -- a tour of the hotel for $10??? That should be free part of marketing. Also, should be coffee and tea out all day long not just tea from 4- 5. I would stay again (if the price were right) but never eat in restaurants again.

Stayed overnight with my wife for our 1 year wedding anniversary. Ate at the Crystal Room for a late dinner. When our server Helen found out it was our first wedding anniversary, she made us feel very special by offering to take pictures for us at dinner and giving plates for our wedding cake that we had saved for 1 year and brought with us. Excellent service! Breakfast at the crystal room was great as well. Food was delicious and service was quick and friendly. Check out was so fast and they had a room ready even though we were a little early. Vallet parking was great! Also enjoyed the hiking trails which were very well kept. The outdoor pool was awesome, clean and staff was friendly. Doormen were great. Best part of the room was the bathroom. The tub and shower were so relaxing and worked great. Greatly enjoyed the alarm clock and utilized the iPod dock. We loved the s'more kit which was also a great value. However, the fire pit was overcrowded. I Think a second fire pit would be a great addition. My wife didn't feel like the blow-dryer in the bathroom was powerful enough. We ordered room service and were told it would take 30-45 minutes. It ended up taking 1 hour and by the time we got it, our grilled cheese sandwich was cold. The food was still good, and the server was very nice and pleasant. Asked for a late check out so that my wife and I could enjoy the outdoor pool for a while since it had rained the previous day. The front desk billed be $53 for a 2pm check out. I thought that this was a rip-off because a noon check out is no charge, and other Omni facilities I have stayed at offer a 5pm check out for $50. I felt as thought the staff was just making up a charge for me and I was taken advantage of. Overall, I had a positive experience. I would love to return, but I do feel that the stay was a bit overpriced. I may look for a similar experience at another resort for a better value.

This was our third visit to this resort. Not many people from Cleveland know of this beautiful hidden gem. We vacationed at Nemacolin for years and were turned on to this resort by some very sophisticated friends who started coming here instead of the Nemacolin, due to poor service. The resort is lovely. It has a long history (1800's) of catering to guests. The spa is wonderful and the therapists are excellent. The resort is beautiful. The 1796 restaurant is excellent. The service is beyond excellent. The front dest Managers Todd and Michael aim to please. The service is superior to anything in Western/ middle PA.
