This is the kind of place that you can get a $9 hamburger or a $25 steak and everything in between...and it's all delicious. The menu evolves as they use so many local and fresh ingredients. While many people go to the Gamble Mill for a special occasion, it is a great week day place too that often gets overlooked. They often have local music and beer specials. If you are interested in their beer produced on-site, definitely try one of the flights so you can sample more of these.

What a disappointment - food and mixed drinks weren't even up to mediocre. I also felt that the appetizers and drinks were overpriced. This USED to be a good place to eat.

We had dinner and was charged $3.00 cover charge. They sang three songs androgen they left. Never had that happen before.

We usually eat at Gamble Mill once a year on our annual trek through Bellefounte. It's a very cool space. We had the $5 burger and $3 pint special which were quite good and an excellent price. In the past I've thought the food was overpriced which is why we stayed away from the entrees. Overall I think if they focused on pub food they would be better off but burger specials don't keep the lights on!

Just got home from the Gamble Mill, should have stayed home. It went down hill not long after we walked in the door. We thought we had a reservation we were told they do not take reservations on Sunday. We had to sit at the bar because the dining room was closed. The entire restaurant should have been closed. We were hit with a cover charge to listen to a no talent band. Most of the menu was unavailable, what was unavailable was printed and placed in the menus. There was 3 dinner entrees on the entire menu. The entrees were ridiculously small and way over priced for the portions. Our 3 entrees would not have filled an average sized dinner plate. My fish was cold the vegetables were cold and burnt, my wife ordered a shrimp and pasta meal, 3 small shrimp and maybe 10 pieces of gnocchi. Our son had 3 scallops and they were about the size of a quarter. I have eaten bigger appetizers in cheaper and better restaurants. The waiter was a gem too. I ordered sweetened iced tea. It was brewed and unsweetened but he left me sugar and sweat & low. Our water glasses were not refilled. We also had to ask to see the bill he did not bring it to our table he just picked up the cash and headed towards the cashier. We got there 1 hour after they opened the place was not busy and our son got the last order of scallops.

If we go back we will probably order sandwiches they are bigger than the entrees.
This place is nice but way over rated. Call ahead to see what is on the menu you might get lucky.
