Me and my boyfriend went to The Inn of The Dove last March and it was wonderful. We had such a good time, we didn't want to come home. Everything was perfect. We didn't have any problems what so ever. In matter of fact we are going back around the same time as we did last year. We are hoping it turns out the same as last year or even better.

Me and my wife recently spent two nights at this establishment and it was nothing short of the 'Hub". When you spend $200.00 a night I believe a room should have more than a half roll of toilet paper, there should be no cigarettes in the toilet, the rugs should be clean, no pubic hairs in hot tub, T.V. should be off not on with the porno channel blasting. Our door was wide open, I didn't have to use my key to enter our room. There was no t.v. remote and when I asked for one(remote) the people automatically assumed I was asking for a second remote.
These room are by no means inexpensive. I believe before letting any guest entering their room, the personel should take a few minutes to make sure the conditions of these rooms are more than exceptable to there guests. It's only good business if you like to keep repeat customers.

I went to the Inn of the Dove in Bensalem for a Christmas gift for my boss and his wife, after researching several ideas. #1 I was told I could write a check for the gift certificate (as I received numerous checks and cash from my co-workers) and when I got there, they would not accept a check. #2 After driving almost 50 miles, I was told that they do not have the "package" I was looking for at that location, even after I was told they had it when I called to confirm pricing (and that I could write a check). I was told that I probably wrote down the wrong location for that "package", however, I printed up the information from the internet and HAD IT WITH ME as proof. I was so disgusted with them; but I did find a better gift! I recommend that you find a better, customer service oriented place to stay, a place that will honor what employees say and what is advertised on the internet. I also was not very impressed with the appearance of the place. They had various fresheners to cover up that musty smell. I have kept a copy of this print-out from the internet which is dated and will probably submit a claim to the business bureau.

I travel for business and have stayed in a lot of hotels; the Inn of the Dove is hands down the worst I have ever seen. First of all, we had trouble finding it and called repeatedly letting it ring for 2 minutes straight each time to get directions. No one ever answered the phone. When we finally did get there I quizzed the desk help as to why no one is answering the phone. She said, "Well I'm here by myself and I'm busy." It was so dark outside with no lighting and no signs, we had to get out of the car and walk up to the doors to find our room. The room was clean but very run down. Chips in whirlpool tub, holes in the tiles. The shower has two lovely heads, but the drain wouldn't drain so you would stand in inches of cold dirty water. The spigot in the sink sprayed everywhere but into the sink. The refrigerator was fully stocked with Shasta orange and grape soda (no cola), which would have been great if my 3 year old was with us. The fireplace had 1 log and you have to purchase the rest. When we went to check out the next day, the parking lot was a sheet of ice and not treated at all with salt. Definately not worth the money. I would never recommend anyone to stay here.

Well, the first problem my fiance and I encountered was the original room key the front desk provided us with was to a used room that had not been cleaned. The second room key we were given was to a room that had no heat! Once we called the front desk to tell them that the heating system was blowing out cold air they told us to wait 15 minutes for the system to warm up. We ended up going out to dinner which took about 2 hours and came back and there was still cold air blowing. We then called the front desk to notify them that 2 hours had passed and there was still no heat they basically told us we could either leave and get our money back or deal with it. The third problem we encountered was the Jacuzzi had what I'm hoping was soap scum around the bottom...thank goodness I brought my own diseffectant cleaning solutions! The fourth problem was that the would be fitted sheet on the bed which was actually just a tucked in flat sheet had a hole from what looked like a cigarette burn! I definately would not visit this place again!

Upon arriving at the Inn of the Dove, Bensalem, I thought the room was nice. My boyfriend however, thought it was a dump (compared to other locations he had been to). After checking things out further, I noticed that the jacuzzi tub had lots of chips in it, the mirrors around the tub were dirty, there were only 2 EXTREMELY small towels in the bathroom, the outside light was burned out, and the shower would change temperature on it's own (from hot to cold back to hot). I would probably try a different location for my next experience.

Stayed at this location summer 2004. Asked for Honeymoon Whirlpool Suite, got Deluxe Suite. No hot water for at least 20 minutes(time it took for water to get hot). No candles as advertised. Laying in bed, discovered very, very large spiders crawling on wall near bed. They were coming in from crack near floor. Needless to say, that is a definite mood-killer. Stayed awake all night making sure no more came near us. Would not recommend this location to any romantic souls.
