“"A Home Away From Home"”

My husband and I spent two nights here in the Master's Quarters and truly loved it! We were made to feel at home with Laura, Michael and their delightful kids Jacob & Janessa (as well as with Angie who made breakfast for us our second morning). Watching the children interact with each other and the goats & chickens (where the fresh eggs are collected each day) was sweet! Our accommodations were top notch (We loved our private porch, but would have enjoyed the front porch as well). This is such a peaceful setting. After hiking the Falls trail in Rickett's Glen we thoroughly appreciated the big whirlpool tub (twice!). Also the breakfasts and snacks were delicious. We WILL be back as our stay was great and the location is so convenient to the park.

Room Tip: The Masters Quarters is the best room in my opinion because of the private deck and large tub plus s...

We had the pleasure of staying here recently. The house and rooms were pristine. The breakfast was also fantastic. We had the option of blueberry pancakes or a gourmet omelet. The location was also very easy to find and located only a few minutes from Ricketts Glen State Park. The owners have a great knowledge of the local area. Mike took the time to mark down a map and give me great directions on how to access the falls hiking trail. The property also has lots of animals to socialize with. My girlfriend fell in love with their baby goats. They also earned brownie points with me with their cement Sasquatch statue. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Laura really makes this place feel like home. Clean, quaint and comfortable. We stayed in the Hunter's Paradise room which is bigger than it looks in the pictures and was very cozy. Fresh fruit and baked goodies were awaiting us on our arrival (which was early) and breakfast was outstanding! Thank you Laura for accommodating my special diet---- it was delicious! This is the place to stay if you are visiting Rickett's Glen (which is amazing!!). We were too tired to take advantage of the fire pit and fixings for s'mores..... Our first B&B experience was an A+++ :)

Room Tip: Hunter's Paradise is bigger than we expected and the bathroom is literally right across the hall...

Thanks, in part, to reading the reviews on Trip Advisor, we chose The Old Tioga Inn Bed and Breakfast for a one day/night get away and had a fabulous time. Laura and Mike were super and their place is just great. Breakfast was wonderful and we had the pleasure of meeting their sweet kids and a neighbor who was helping out. We plan to return in the fall and hope to book the Master's Quarters once again.

Sincerely,

Lisa and Doug

Let me first say that this was Our very FIRST Bed & Breakfast experience. My husband and I decided to stay here for two nights while we visited Rickett's Glen State Park to hike the Falls Trail. We had never spent any time at a Bed and Breakfast and thought we'd give it a try. We are glad that we did!! When we first arrived, we were warmly greeted by Laura & Mike. She showed us our Room (which had chocolates & fresh towels on the bed waiting for us!) as well as the other areas that we were welcome to. They made you feel as though you were welcome and "right at home". We stayed in the Master's Quarters; which is currently their largest room. It has a King Bed, a Private deck, and a Private bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and two person shower. We slept wonderful both nights. Laura made excellent breakfast both mornings which included many ingredients grown fresh at their home. She made sure you didn't leave hungry! Their home is very beautiful and peaceful. For those animal lovers; they have two of the sweetest goats I've ever seen who go by "Star" & "Ginger" and a very adorable, friendly grey Cat! It was as though we were a part of the family! We will definitely be back soon and I recommend The Old Tioga Inn Bed&Breakfast for everyone who is looking for an amazing place to stay. Laura & Mike are great hosts and have the warmest hospitality! We are already thinking of when we can come back and visit!!

My husband and I picked this place to stay for our 3rd wedding anniversary that was close to Ricketts Glenn. We have never stayed at a B&B before, so we weren't 100% sure what to expect. We only stayed one night, however the hospitality of the owners, Laura & Mike, made us feel like one of the family. We arrived early at check-in and our room was already set up for us. When we returned from our hike, we found a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. We stayed in the Masters Quarters which had a small porch, a king size bed, and a jacuzzi tub. Don't be alarmed by the Sasquatch in the backyard...he is harmless :) In the morning, we had a generous breakfast and hung out with the rest of the guests. Meeting the children and the pets (English bulldogs, cat, goats, and chickens) were also a plus! Definitely would recommend to anyone looking to visit the falls. Look out future B&B's this is the place to beat!!

I have been to several B&B's and The Old Tioga Inn is definitely my favorite!! Such a quiet, secluded area, with so many beautiful sights to see so close by! The gorgeous log cabin was just as great on the inside as on the outside. Laura and Mike were such wonderful hosts and really made me feel at home. (And boy can Laura cook!!!) I certainly hope I have the opportunity to return soon! :)
