At AARP rate of $80+/night plus $15/pet/night fee, the price was steep for an EconoLodge. However, at check-in, Chad was exceptional at locating a 1st fl room that was perfect for us traveling with a disabled pet. He went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed, and that's why the "very good" rating. The room was roomy, clean, quiet with plenty of free parking next to the door and USA Today. Continental breakfast lacked creativity and the breads were stale, but we were offered boiled eggs the first day (we stayed 3 nights). Housekeeping was very good. Mall just across the parking lot; lots of nice clean grass for dog walking.

Room Tip: back of hotel facing the mall is quieter area.

At Econo Lodge in Bloomsburg, you get economical lodging. Furniture reminiscent of a college dorm, bulky, old-school tv, stained carpeting. You also get a price that's cheaper than the local competition, and it was clean and quiet. I have no complaints - except for one. The coffee-tinged water was undrinkable. Plan on getting your coffee elsewhere.

The Bloomsburg Econo Lodge is located on the property adjacent to the Columbia Mall. There are lots of restaurants nearby as well. It is a short distance from the downtown area. The staff at the hotel was friendly. It was a very warm day and the room was a nice cool temperature when we arrived. Our room had a king size bed, refrigerator and microwave. It was a large space and appeared quite clean. There is a free continental breakfast in the morning. They provide a receipt under your door the last night so you are able to use Express Check Out. This allows you to call the desk when you are ready to leave and depart directly from your room. Overall, a very good experience.

Room Tip: I was attending a wedding and they had a block of rooms with a double bed only. I booked over the internet and got a king for the same price.

Stayed at the Econolodge Bloomsburg PA recently, as the title says, Good for a One Night stay. Nothing fancy and it was clean. The breakfast had many choices and were fresh. The staff was very helpful with any questions asked of them. Its kind of hard to find. Motel sits behind the Mall and never saw a sign, but we found it. I would stay here again if needed.

Our room was ok. We had a king size bed. The bed was good and the internet connection was good too. The only other redeaming quality of this property is that it is right next to a Quaker Steak and Lube, and they gave us 10% off of our meal.
Our room was a smoking room, that being said the smell in the room was not good ( I know it was a smoking room)The whole 2nd floor smells like an old poorly kept apartment building. They have made no effort at all to do anything about this.
Also the A/C in our room bearly kept the room cool. When it cycled on and off it made a lot of noise and made it very difficult to sleep.
We got the room on a hot wire deal. I think it was a very poor decision on my part. When we got there I found out that the AAA rate was even better that the Hotwire rate that we had paid. If you are planning on stopping over in Bloomsburg PA, Stay at the Holiday Inn Express for a few $$ more and have a much better experiance
