“Great breakfast”
Reviewed 2 July 2014

The name of the shop is deceiving as they also serve breakfast and lunch. They serve typical diner-style breakfast and lunch items. The food is good, the bread is homemade and has many choices. There are lots to choose from in their bakery, eg. donuts, fudge, cake, cookies, pastries and more.

“Not just pastries”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

They have excellent baked goods, but also serve good breakfast meals. Service has been an issue a time or two, but not the norm.

“It's More than a Pastry Shop”
Reviewed 9 October 2013 via mobile

Yes, there are three bakery cases full of goodies. But they also serve a very good sit-down breakfast. Atmosphere was pleasant and clean. Service was good. The breakfast menu was pretty expansive and my meal (Western Omelette) was quite good. Of note, any toast was from homemade bread, and there were about ten choices. If you enjoy a good breakfast that isn't your typical chain restaurant, I would recommend this place without hesitation.

“Delicious breakfast”
Reviewed 7 September 2013

This restaurant was recommended by a local. From the name, we thought that it would only offer baked goods, but it is a sit down restaurant with a varied breakfast menu. We ordered western omelettes and they were great. The ham that was used was a step up from typical diner fare, and the home fries were the best we've ever had. I don't know what they season them with, but they are just great. There is a huge assortment of breads on the menu, including three different types of rye bread, reflecting the local culture. We opted for sour dough and something called salt rise; they were both served with whipped butter and homemade raspberry jam. A delicious breakfast.

“Not overly impressed . . .”
Reviewed 4 September 2013

It's older inside with metal chairs etc. We weren't overly blown away by the food and took pastries to go which were alright. Service wasn't anything to brag about either.
