“Saturday afternoon late lunch ”
Reviewed 8 February 2014 via mobile

Found this place through Map-quest but map-quest gave us the wrong directions! After 15 minutes of frustration we found El Paso!

We had flavored marguerite's - a little sweet but other than that quite good.

Chips are excellent!

Cancun burrito and enchiladas were excellent, service top notch!

Highly recommend! Don't follow map-quest!

Thank Tony A

“Authentic Mexican food-who knew?”
Reviewed 24 July 2013

While on a shopping excursion with my brother and since we were both hungry, El Paso Mexican Grill just happened to be in the same shopping plaza. When we walked into the small, quaint restaurant, we were greeted by three Hispanic males who were personable and friendly. Our waiter was prompt to take our drink orders and delivered a large basket of still warm chips and a carafe of salsa. The salsa wasn't over spicey but there were bottles of different hot seasonings at the table for those who do like it hot. The menu selection was a pleasant surprise and included a variety of combination meals. In addition to the food, Mexican and domestic beers, five tequila shots, wine, margaritas served by the glass or pitcher, and mixed drinks are available.
We both ordered lunch special #8 which was the chicken or beef quesadilla, rice and a taco. I had the chicken and TJ had the beef. Our food was brought within minutes and we were both surprised at the large portion of food served for lunch. The quesadilla was folded and crisp on both sides. My chicken was all white meat (no seasoning), sour cream and cheese. The beef was slightly seasoned and made the same. I'm not a big rice fan, but the rice served was delicious as well as the taco.
For anyone who likes Mexican food, but doesn't like all the spice/seasoning that some restaurants use, El Paso offers you the choice. We are definitely planning on a return visit. The staff was great, the food was delicious and the price was right on. What a gem in the middle of a small rural town outside of Pittsburgh. Ole!
