“Good Brewpub”
Reviewed 15 June 2013

We ate dinner here on a Friday nite and really liked the place, we have been to quite a few brewpubs and this one ranks well, the waitress was nice, didn't really know what a flight board was and wasn't very informed about the beers. The food was very good and the beers were very good as well. We had a nice time.

“The food saved them from a terrible rating”
Reviewed 9 June 2013

We went there for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We've eaten here a number of times before. Place was dead, very few patrons. We were seated in the dining area, server got our drinks and took our food order. Drinks and food were served promptly. Food was good-Brewers Mac & Cheese-but this time the bacon wasn't small bits it was pieces of full slices many of which were undercooked and there were good size pieces of bleu cheese instead of crumbled into it like before. Veggie panini sandwich was OK but a bit greasy inside. The problem came after the food was served. We never got a single return visit from our server and sat there for at least 15 minutes with empty drinks and leftover food. Finally we had enough and walked to the hostess station and found the hostess and the barmaid hanging out behind the bar talking. They saw us and the hostess came over and said "Do you want your check?" I told her we'd been sitting back there and she then informed us the server had an allergic reaction and her and the other employee behind the bar were "just talking about us"! Instead of talking about us she should have come back to see how we were doing. We certainly would have understood given the circumstances. We were never asked how our meal was nor offered any sort of compensation for being abandoned. The Harrisburg location is only 10 minutes away. I'm afraid if we want to go to ABC in the future we'll stick to the original. Or we'll go elsewhere. Quite a disappointment. If you look at my reviews you'll see I graded this place much higher before.

“A little pricey but you get your moneys worth!!”
Reviewed 23 May 2013

My husband and I went there looking for a good beer and dinner. We looked this place up on trip advisor and decided to try it. My husband is usually only a "Bud" beer drinker but had to pick another since the place only serves their beer they brew there. We both tried the Water Gap and it was wonderful. We split a burger they call "Satsquatch". It had sliced apples on it which sounded weird but we decided to go for it. So very happy we did! Everything was wonderful. We had a beer each and split the burger and fries and we paid 25$ with tip. So a little pricey but would go back if we were in the area again!

“Be a Mugger”
Reviewed 8 April 2013

The beer is fantastic! The choices and varieties rotate constantly. We are "Muggers" and enjoy our growlers. The food is good and works for vegetarians.
