“Great service, food worth the wait.”
Reviewed 20 July 2014

We went with two other couples on a Saturday and had 7:30 reservations, but were told that they had put them in for Friday. The hostess was able to find us a table for 8:30 and we waited in the pub-style bar with a friendly bartender. Once seated, our waitress, Jesse, was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. All our appetizers were great with the mussels in oil and herbs the standout. The main courses ranged from very good to excellent- high quality ingredients and well presented. The crab Imperial and signature crab cakes are to be recommended. However, an excellent piece of halibut was disappointedly overcooked, and the salmon in parchment was flavorful but should have been moister. The restaurant is in a country inn that is well appointed and maintained. Highly recommended, but you might want to avoid the busy weekends during the summer.

“Good but pricey”
Reviewed 19 July 2014

The food is very good but bring your wallet. Depending on what you order, you have enough or feel hungry when you leave. The wait staff is wonderful and the chief.......fantastic!!!!

“Good service, outstanding food”
Reviewed 16 July 2014

It took the waitress a while to get to us. It wasn't that long, but she was very apologetic and after that the service was excellent. The food was outstanding too. She had the signature crab cakes and I had a portobello mushroom stuffed with risotto and topped with a small filet mignon. Both excellent, especially the portobello.

“Great Restaurant”
Reviewed 13 June 2014

We were on a weekend trip in the Poconos with friends to relax and play some golf. We were told about the Inn and loved the name. We were told that it was a great place to eat. Our expectations were that we world go to an old country place in a rural area and have a nice dinner. However we were pleasantly surprised because the food, menu and service were excellent. There was a variety of choices and the food was prepared exactly the way we wanted. The service was outstanding and they anticipated our needs! Any one looking for a great dining experience should go to the Inn even if you had to travel a bit to get there!

“Fine Dining in a Rural Setting”
Reviewed 20 April 2014

My wife and I wanted to share some time with our newly married daughter and her husband over a quiet dinner celebrating their one year anniversary. We were staying at near by Skytop Lodge which has lovely accommodations, however the dining arrangements were much more intimate at The Frog Town Inn and 6 Acres Restaurant. The white table cloth settings adjacent to the handsome dark mahogany bar area afforded us just the right ambiance. The service was superb as was the menu. A guest chef provided new offering for the evening of which I selected the lamb dish. My son in law choose the signature crab cake off the regular menu. After the meal was over we both agreed that this place earned high marks in all areas but one. The portions are quite petit. Therefore I am recommending ordering an appetizer or two to fill out the meal.
