We went with two other couples on a Saturday and had 7:30 reservations, but were told that they had put them in for Friday. The hostess was able to find us a table for 8:30 and we waited in the pub-style bar with a friendly bartender. Once seated, our waitress, Jesse, was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. All our appetizers were great with the mussels in oil and herbs the standout. The main courses ranged from very good to excellent- high quality ingredients and well presented. The crab Imperial and signature crab cakes are to be recommended. However, an excellent piece of halibut was disappointedly overcooked, and the salmon in parchment was flavorful but should have been moister. The restaurant is in a country inn that is well appointed and maintained. Highly recommended, but you might want to avoid the busy weekends during the summer.
