We have stayed at this hotel over 20 times and have never been disappointed. The staff is wonderful and is responsive to all your needs. When we arrive they always have non feather pillows that we requested placed in room before our arrival. The rooms are decorated nicely and are very comfortable. They include a refrigerator, desk and comfortable reading chair. Bathroom was clean and had a ton of towels.
The restaurant, Jacksons, next door is excellent. We have eaten there numerous times and have had family events there. They have wood fired pizzas and use the wood fired oven to make other items. The service and food are excellent.
The breakfast buffet at the restaurant is a little pricey but convenient. Besides the breakfast items you can have items prepared for you by the chef, i.e.pancakes etc.
Check-in takes minutes. Beds have comfort number adjustments and are very comfortable. Air conditioning and heating regulate temperature well.Great place to stay. They have a Business Center with computers and printer for guests use. Nice sitting area in the lobby . Ample and free parking. Very close to the Interstate.

My husband and I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn following a Christmas party. We had stayed at this hotel the prior year and found it to be safe, convenient, and relaxing. The check-in was excellent, the room was very clean and accommodating, the food at the sit down dinner was delicious, etc. Following the party, my husband and I decided to go to the bar for a few drinks as it was still fairly early in the night and neither of us had to drive as we had a room at the hotel. My husband ordered a beer and I had a mixed drink. A printed receipt was given to us and I happened to check what the bartender gave us back as change from what my husband paid. We noted that we were given $2 less and decided to tell the bartender. We were told it was indeed a mistake and that the bartender (#1) had a 'hard night' and had been on duty since 4pm (it was shortly after midnight). They then made the adjustment by giving my husband a free beer. We both then decided to have one last nightcap and paid a different bartender (#2) for the drinks....noting then that we were cheated of $5.00 from the cost of the drinks. We could not believe that this happened TWICE. We brought this to the attention of the bartender #2 who then became very defensive asking us if we were 'hiding' or 'squandering' money. Believe me....my husband and I have NEVER cheated anyone of anything and are very able financially to pay the prices of drinks. We also are 55+ years old and use to fine establishments and being treated fair and with respect. The bartender then told us we could talk with the manager and the police (who happened to be on site?????). He then threw us the $20.00 we gave him and told us to get out....

The policeman really did not say much or offer us any support, advice, etc. The night manager of the hotel gave us the same excuse that both of the bartenders were tired....and that they had been on duty since 4pm.

We recently were out of the country and our car was robbed of nearly $700 items (rental GPS, camera, some clothes, etc)....and now seeing something like this happen in the USA is pretty discouraging. The cheating would have amounted to only $7.00 which is really not a big amount....but it is the principle that is upsetting to us.

I wonder how many times this has occurred before and people don't notice as they are not minding their money and change. It is a real shame that employees have to go to this level of behavior. Also, the gull of those men to attempt to do this to us TWICE. I was very disappointed in those 2 young bartenders and will be sure to tell others about our experience there.

Still love the hotel....but the bartenders at Jacksons need to be more honest.

What a great hotel. Good location, very quiet, clean and comfortable (the beds are GREAT!), terrific breakfasts - both made to order and buffet style. The staff is also very cheerful and helpful.

The beds are the worst thing I ever attempted to sleep on! The cost is well over the value!

Most of the help was friendly, but one manager was VERY rude to one of our wedding guests! Will I return? I would rather sleep in my car on the side of the road!

We booked a block for a wedding party. Our group was all over the hotel. Different floors, different areas. VERY over priced for what was provided!

We were told that we had a room with a good view. It was... once you got past the kitchen roof. The smell of the kitchen overwhelming the room to the point we had to keep the door closed and no way to adjust the temp. It was not a plesent oder! Not a nice room, not a plesent stay!

Room Tip: Go someplace else. There is a knights inn the next exit North that has to be better!

The Hilton Garden Inn in Canonsburg sits right on top of a large hill. The hotel is located about 20 miles from Pittsburgh and about 11 miles from Washington, make it easier to travel to different areas. The hotel has a nice lobby with chairs situated around a usually live fireplace on the right side. On the left side of the lobby is a small dining area with numerous tables for breakfast. A front desk is situated beyond the fireplace. Checking in was a breeze and the front attendant was very professional and welcoming.

The room was very nice. It included a microwave and a refrigerator. It had a nice HDTV with HD service and a large desk. The beds were amazing. There was even a balcony outside. Wifi access was available and worked very well. It was also free. The room was clean, comfortable, and very modern.

The pool at the hotel is nice but small. However, there is a size able hot tub that works quite well. Small towels are available and there is a bathroom at the end of the pool. While there wasn't any lounge chairs, they did have regular chairs and several tables. A fitness center was also located next door. Interestingly enough the pool was open from 6am to 10pm which was quite good.

After spending three nights at the hotel, I definitely would recommend it to others. One caveat is the ongoing weddings. Our room was located near the reception/ballroom and we could hear some of the music. This wasn't too bad but for some it might be a problem. Others wrote about problems with party goers but they were not an issue at our room location.

For the price, location, and great physical amenities, the hotel can't be beat. Be sure to check the Hilton website for any special offers and packages.

Room Tip: Be sure to avoid rooms located by the ballroom.

This should have been a stellar review, considering the location, price, cleanliness, friendliness, and overall condition of the hotel. I stayed this past weekend with my wife and 2 children and were kept awake until 3am by rooms of loud, obnoxious partiers shouting profanities down the halls at one another, and slamming doors every few seconds. Security eventually showed up and quieted them down a bit. It's a real shame.

Room Tip: Try to book a room away from the party crowd, if possible.
