Hotel appeared to be fairly new. It is not off of the turnpike, but off of Rt 81. Mapquest helped us find hotel. Do request room facing front of hotel as the back rooms face the highway if you are a light sleepter. You will need a car to get to restaurants. Room was very nice, clean, beds comfortable, room was quiet, ample parking, typical Country Inn & suites all around. Staff pleasant. Would stay here again if passing through the area.

Stayed 1 night at this hotel with family on a return home from Maine. It was convenient to the freeway, yet far enough off that it was nice and quiet. The room was a large size and well appointed. There was a fridge and microwave, as well as large flat panel tv. The beds were comfy and the linens lovely!

The pool and spa were a welcome surprise to us after a long trip that day! Although the pool was rather cold....

The continental breakfast was very good, with a lot of variety to choose from. There were granola bars and coffee all night for those who needed a late night snack - compliments of the hotel. I couldn't say nicer things about this hotel!

We visit Carlisle several times a year and travel with 3 young children. We stayed at this hotel last month in a king suite. The room was very nice and clean. Although we were on the highway side on the first floor, and being from a rural area, we could not sleep because of the traffic. The Second time we stayed, we had the same type of room on the 3rd floor, and the noise was much less. However, our room was not vacuumed well with bugs on the windowsills and under the bed, and the sheets on the fold-out couch were covered in crumbs. Although the girl at the front desk was very helpful and apologetic, we found that very discouraging. We had to ask for towels in the pool area twice, and had to wait for food at the breakfast area. Forks, napkins, milk, and many other things constantly were running out. At checkout, we have more problems. Rooms got charged on the wrong card, with different rates for the same type room, only to be told when I called that we should have taken care of that-which we thought we did when we checked in-that's when they took all of our info.
The girl at check-in during our second visit told us that they have sidewalk chalk, crayons and hula hoops for the kids. They do have some books in the lobby. They are supposed to have cookies-but only actually saw them once during our 6 days there.
Overall, it is a very nice hotel, although we can't figure out why a new hotel in the town where one of the biggest car shows is held would build a hotel with an unfriendly parking lot. We will not be staying there again, but it isn't a bad place.

Spent 2 days at the hotel over the Memorial Day weekend. The room was clean, bright and the bed was comfortable. Continental breakfast was good, and the staff were very friendly and eager to please. My only "complaint" is the view from my room overlooked I81, but who cares?

We ended up at this hotel because we needed to attend a nearby sporting event and it was the only place with an available room. Although the price was a bit steep even with a AAA discount, I was pleased because of the good reviews on TA. I asked for a room away from the highway based on another TA review. When we arrived, we thought the hotel was cute because it had rockers on the “front porch.” However, our request for a room away from the highway was not honored. If you are a light sleeper, I would not take a chance on this hotel. We could have opened a window and thrown something onto the highway – that’s how close it was. Even with the fan on, we could hear traffic, including trucks gearing down, all night long. On the second night we were so exhausted from the first night that we did get some sleep with the fan at the highest level. The beds were okay. The bathroom was okay. The rooms were a little on the small side for the price and the location. On the plus side, the breakfast was good. They had fresh fruit, along with the usual cereal, pastries, bagels and bread. They also had a hot dish every morning and make-your-own waffles. The waffles had blueberries in them one morning. My daughter thought they were great. If we visit Carlisle again, we won't stay here. If we had gotten a room away from the highway, we might have had a more positive outlook.

I just loved this hotel. We used a coupon from room saver coupon books you can find at the rest stops and save $30 off the normal room rate. When we checked in the woman at the front desk gave the kids coloring books and games to take to the room with us (what a life-saver!!!) The room was extremely clean and quite comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was good. It was a typical continental breakfast that included cereal, toast, yogurt, fresh fruits, hard-boiled eggs and some more. Easy access from Interstate 81.
