Vast list of bottled Belgian beer and they always carry about eight (8) belgians on draft. The beer is a bit expensive but it is worth it to have at least one with any of there food offerings. The frites or mussels are a must to start off with and all the sandwiches and entrees are delicious (I am particularly partial to the lamb burger). Save room for a waffle for dessert, topped with whipped cream, some sort of rotating fruit, and dark chocolate. Sometimes they just put on on the griddle just so people get a waft.

Cafe Bruges is a small, comfortable restaurant with a tremendous Belgian beer menu. If you only drink US beers, or if you prefer "lite" beer, it's not for you, but for those with more adventurous palates, this is a hot-spot. Knowledgeable servers can help you with your choice of beer. Food is delicious; you may come for the beer, but you'll go back for the lamb-burger or the mussels, the house specialty. Cones of pommes frites are huge--maybe you only need one for every two people. Don't miss the house-made dips for the frites, like horseradish mayo and curry ketchup. Only downside is that it's a bit loud, but for me that's part of the fun atmosphere.

My wife and I love this place. It is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for - good food, good service, and access to some of the absolute best beers in the world. They have a superb selection of Belgian Trappist beers that rivals any selection I have seen anywhere in the US, Italy, or France. If you want to sample the various beers, get a cab or designate a driver. You'll be glad you did.

The beer selection is excellent, especially the Chimay Grand Reserve (Blue 9%) and the restaurant has a number of Gueuze Lambics for the ladies to enjoy. The meals were decently proportioned and one of the best steaks (Steak Frites) that we have eaten lately, hands down. While writing this review, I'm already looking forward to dining there again very shortly.

This is now a must stop every time I return home to my old stomping grounds of central Pa. I love their mussels in wine sauce, and I have not yet found better Belgian fries anywhere in the world, with their homemade sauces, it cannot be beat.

They have an awesome Belgium beer selection too!
