“Nice Business Option”
Reviewed 17 June 2014 via mobile

I recently had a meeting in Carlisle and setup a dinner with 8 people for that evening. We went to Rillo's. First off, the atmosphere is a little dull, but the service was great (friendly, responsive, attentive, etc.). The food was good italian (maybe not like the Hill in St. Louis, but good). There were a lot of options on the food side and there were good appeizers. The wine list was limited, but we found something that was sutiable. Good option and we enjoyed dinner!

“A Carlisle FAVORITE”
Reviewed 29 May 2014

Rillo's has been a family owned and operated establishment. Consistent quality and service is a definite when visiting this restaurant. My favorite dining area is in any of the small alcoves adjacent to the main dining room.
We have had wonderful parties at Rillo's in some of the private dining rooms.
Tuesday night Pastamania is a favorite of my teens, and special event meals (Mother's Day, Father's Day, etc) are rarely subject to a pared down menu.
Overall, Rillo's has never been a disappointment in any way,

“Disappointed”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

In the past, Rillo's was always a dependable place for a good dining experience. A few months ago, our party of nine went to Rillo's expecting to have a great meal. We were sadly disappointed. Of the nine dinners, no one had an exceptional meal. One had to be sent back because it was cold, I asked for capellini and got spaghetti which was overcooked, one was too salty and the others were marginal at best. We expected much better for the price you pay to dine here. Sadly to say, we will take Rillo's off of our list.

“Not as good as in past”

Feel sad that restaurant has lost quality over the years. Keep trying them and meals remain average. Very limited lunch menu. Needs remodeling-feels worn.

“I think they were having a bad night”
Reviewed 24 May 2014

We went to Rillo's on a Saturday night after receiving a strong recommendation. We had about ten people in our group and they squeezed us in at the same table. The waiter was knowledgable and friendly and put in a good effort, but he had too many tables to serve to provide sufficient attention to us. We knew people at a nearby table and their waitress must have been new as she barely paid any attention to them. At our table, one person stated that his meal was a mix of good items and a main dish that was too rough to chew; my meal was just okay; and another person said that his lasagna was as good as the meal his Italian grandmother used to prepare. Service was extremely slow for the people we knew at the other table. Although they arrived at the same time, we were finishing dessert when they were being served their meals.
