“Good Breakfast”
Reviewed 24 February 2014

The service is good and the meals come out quickly. The hash browns could have a little more flavor though. A good place for a nice breakfast and the prices are good

“Great food, not so great service”
Reviewed 16 February 2014

We stopped for brunch on our way north. It was a very busy place (Sunday, late morning), but a short wait. There are not enough parking places if the place is full. The Eggs Benedict were excellent, but the home fries were very bland - just fried potatoes, no seasoning. The turkey sandwich came dry... the server did not ask if we wanted anything on it, like mayo. Had to ask for that separately after finding there was nothing there. After that, the sandwich was great. Had to wait about 10 minutes for the check, then had to ask for it. Would try it again.

“Better than nothing”
Reviewed 30 January 2014 via mobile

The Bonanza restaurant across the street burned down and the diner opened soon after. Had hoped that the diner would be a good substitute but the two meals in the diner have rated 2 stars and no more. The French fries tasted like they were cooked in old grease. The bacon was cold and bland with a strange taste. The baked oatmeal could have been used as sand paper. Portions were generous and the interior of the diner is nice. Let's hope that they keep it nice and clean and that they figure out how to make the food taste better. I may go back but only because the location is convenient.

“"a new eat in town"”
Reviewed 25 January 2014

We started coming into the diner shortly after opening. We work at the nursing home near-by and bring maybe 6-15 seniors for lunch now and then. We just wanted to commend our server( trish) for going above and beyond what we are sure her job entails,as she not only was an excellent server but took the time with each individual senior we had that day and had the patience of a saint. it truly takes an unique individual to be able to communicate with elderly people the way she did and we just thought it nice to regonize that, not to mention our food was more then superb and each plate came out HOT AND DELECIOUS! This is deifinitly our new "hot spot" way to go walnut bottom diner~
