My husband and I stayed here over Dickinson Parents Weekend back in September. What a great find! Robin and Kit were wonderful hosts. The Inn was spotless and the service impeccable. The breakfast was delicious! Already booked same room for next year! We highly recommend staying here.

Thank you for staying with us during your visit to Dickinson College. Dickinson College is located in such a beautiful section of historic Carlisle and we really enjoy meeting the parents and their children during these special weekends. We look forward to seeing you again.

What a lovely place to stop over with your horse. Kitty and Robin welcomed us and so did their dog, Rehab (she is a treasure - polite, dignified, and very friendly). The house is just gorgeous, and very comfortable. Breakfast was great... poached pears, pumpkin pancakes, sausages, and a mushroom/cheese/spinach frittata.

We love going to PA for short getaways. There is such a variety of B&B's.this was one of our favorites. we stayed in a suite on the 2nd floor, sweet remembarance Our host both kitty &Robin showed us around & then our room. It was so perfect & looked just like the web site. A king bed was in the middle of the room ,head against wall with 2 windows on each side. A gas fireplace, some chairs, rocking chair; a love seat at the end of the bed. Flat screen t.v. above the f.p. Very sunny & cheery room. On the way to the bathroom there was a sink , cups & glasses & small refrigerater. There was a door leading out to a balcony, too bad we went in the cold weather. You could have coffee or cocktails while the sun went down. Then the bathroom, a private room for the toilet & sink. The main b.r. had a jacuzzie, shower with several messaging water heads, & a rain shower head on the top. How could I forget, heated floors. This B&B was not just a place to stay, it was an estate, with a lot of history; horse farm hotel for traveling horses.(barn) Right from our window I saw some horses arriving & exercising before they & there owners retired for the night. Both Kitty & Rob were very helpful with picking out some places to eat. First night we wanted casual, next night fancy. We didn't have to go far, downtown Carlisle was only a few miles away. What a charming town, it was decorated for X-MASS. We walked around for a while but it was freezing out so we found the 1st place to eat. Kind of like cheers, a bar on one side & several tables on the other. The atmosphere was happy, crowded & noisy, but still had a great time. The food was abundant & good. That night we were so tired from our trip from NJ, & walking around that turning our fp on & slipping between the soft sheets for a long sleep in our comfy bed was the most practical thing to do.The next night we decided on a more upscale eatery. I can't remember the names of either place ,but this was an Italian place. The whole atmosphere did not dissapoint. Food was delicious our waitress was so sweet, everyone we met on this trip were pleasant & friendly. Breakfast the next morning was very tasty, fresh oj & coffee, we didn't have to eat again till we got home, hours later. My husband & I had such a relaxing time we both forgot why we planned this trip, my husbands birthday!Thank you Pheasant field, Kitty &Rob, & the friendly dog, Rehab.

Room Tip: All rooms looked nice. Some were pet friendly. I think if you want to splurge our room had the jacuzzie, fireplace, frig. The best view of the barn, grounds & sunset.

We stayed in the cottage for a month. Robin and Kit were very accomodating hosts. They gave us plenty of space and were great with our teens and our overzealous lab. The surroundings are beautiful and well maintained. The cottage was comfortable and clean. The view of the horses and their dog, Rehab were added bonuses! Thanks for everything!

We really enjoyed our stay at Pheasant Field Bed & Breakfast – what a beautiful B&B! It was a great way to celebrate our anniversary. Lovely gardens and spacious room – and very comfy and cozy bed. We felt very welcomed by the friendly owners. We had a gas fireplace in our room and it was very relaxing. The house is beautiful and historic – and they have a great main fireplace in the living room too. The breakfast was delicious! The B&B is located in a beautiful area near farms and orchards, and the setting is serine with horses outside and a picturesque pond across the way. The autumn leaves were gorgeous colors too. The nearby town of Boiling Springs was very quaint and has a great pub and cute little coffee shop (with delicious cupcakes!). We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Pheasant Field Bed & Breakfast.
