The artwork is always great and the country location is a nice relaxing way to spend an afternoon. We enjoy going on Sunday mornings to take advantage of the free entrance.

“Art treasures in a beautiful setting”
Reviewed 22 April 2014

The Wyeths are among America's favorite painters and this beautifully arranged three-level museum along the banks of the Brandywine River is the perfect setting to enjoy their work. You can join a narrated tour or just wander on your own, taking as much time as you wish to study the marvelous paintings of famed illustrator N.C.Wyeth, his even more-famous son Andrew, and Andrew's son Jamie. Tours of the studios of N.C. and Andrew are also available and worth the time. A most enjoyable art museum, perfect as a family "field trip." The museum has abundant free parking, a very nice gift shop, and a restaurant. Nearby are the magnificent displays of Longwood Gardens.

“A must if you like the Wyeths”
Reviewed 21 April 2014

A small, rustic museum featuring three generations of Wyeths on the Brandywine River not far from Longwood Gardens, so a nice diversion after the wonderful gardens.

.. you certainly will enjoy visiting this museum. Not only will you see works of N. C., Andrew and Jamie, you will see works of their piers and devotees of American Realism. Additionally, the museum offers many other collections and exhibits.
